Despite people not liking the balance of our lineup, the Swans are last in uncontested possession stats.
They don't have speedsters and aren't a great line breaking and ball carrying team.
Have to expect a close game at least, if not hope that we get our 2nd win on the board. We do have an 8-day break as well so all in all, I'm optimistic of at least a close and competitive match.

In reality, the complete opposite at present. We are way to top heavy, and the Swans will run us into the ground today.

Every single player is behind their opponent by 5-10 metres and they don't give a @#$%&!. Insipid is the word that immediately comes to mind.

We have no idea how to zone. Luckily the swans are shit too or we'd be 7 goals down.

We still don't understand what it is to kick to advantage. We don't know how to protect the space in a marking competition.

Slow and pissweak.

Glad Graham's getting some midfield time. But gee he struggles with the tempo at AFL level. Fumbles, smothers, etc.
Charlie is a beautiful field kick, but has the yips around goal.
Docherty's been superb. Smedts good.
We've had our chances, but failed to maximise them as usual. But looks like the dam's about to break.

Our disposal at crucial times has killed us and cost us, as well as Simpson's dropped mark.

SOJ should have been given a free for front on contact in a marking contest right in front of goal.

Going into the game, it seemed if we exploited Sydney's poor uncontested game, we could try and stifle the packs, but look to break and play that chipping game that won us the game (in the wet) against Essendon*. Despite being ranked last for uncontested possession, they are dominating us. We need to pressure the ball carrier.

Good first from both Silvagni's, sps, fisher, doc
