I would give Macreadie a spell. Play Weiters back and bring in KJ provided he keeps his form .
Kruezer back for Phillips
And get some form into Pickett in the 2's and play Gaaalllùucciii

FFS can't we just accept that Murphy had an off-night and move on?

Macreadie is a natural for AFL level. The more work the better. Be mad to send him back a level.

No. This is talkingcarlton and we want blood.
Murphy did look injured, his ankle maybe.
Only negative thing I will say is he missed an easy goal from 30 metres out which he should have kicked.

I am sure someone down Lygon street could see something happens to Liam Jones to put him on long term injury list.
Think of the crowd numbers when all his aunts uncles cousins 2nd cousins etc turn up.
It would be excitement plus

Can see the Swans being 1-5 with a >100 percentage. They're minus 78 now, lose to GWS by less than 5 goals and they're a chance.

TBB is like a dog with a bone so I'll just say Murph was great vs. Port. Really, really great.

I'd keep White in the team because he's got a bit of shithead in him, and the Swans' big bodies will eat our kids alive without someone to play the part. Give him a stint up forward so JW can play back. The latter did some decent things when moved back last night, and you know we're not going to play attacking footy against the Swans so why waste one of our top talents.

Disagree with dropping Wright, he was shite against Port but he can kick goals unlike... well, everyone.

Phillips out, Kreuzer in.

Yeah, I meant to bring up Gibbs's thumb injury when people were giving him the usual serve about not being a leader, not caring, already checked out to the Crows, etc.

Seems the only form of leadership some fans respond to are the demonstrative, red-in-the-face, screaming-at-the-kids type. Bryce isn't that kind of guy, but when I saw him take what looked like a nasty thumb injury and - after a moment to try and pop it back into place - keep on playing without running off to the bench or crying out for a runner, I thought: that is a great example for the kids. Especially when you have guys in the team like Weitering, who seem to catch a lot of knocks and are probably thinking gee, you don't get many pain-free moments in the AFL. Well Bryce has just taught you a lesson: that's right, you're going to be hurting every week, every year, and if you want to be a champion, you grit your teeth and get on with it. Well done, Gibbsy - you're still a champ to me.

Yeah that Barass70 guy has posted it, usually spot on unfortunately.

We desperately need Kreuzer back for Philips, probably need to call on Kerridge and Palmer if Murphy and Gibbs are out.

If true about Murphy and Gibbs, could be a good opportunity for the young guys to get a taste of what "their" Carlton will be like.

Did you watch the game? If so you should know the answer to your own question.

If Murphy and Gibbs go out with Daisy and Kreuzer absent, then the whipper snippers will be fired up for the green shoots and Bolton if we pick this centreline...

C: SPS Cripps Boekhorst
R: Phillips Cunningham Polson

Get comfortable being uncomfortable. :fight:
