thanks Camel - good show in short - says carlton were supportive and made the mistake instead of going on rookie list after initial contract term was up - listened to bulldogs who didn't in the end pick him up at all - compliments Rod Ashman om his role as player support

Fantastic insight overall.
Great to hear what drives athletes and how well/poorly success contributes to their overall self-worth.
Loved the way Melanie Schlanger handled herself throughout her career and how her Dad kept telling her that "her best work will be done outside the pool" which helped with her perspective.
She still won two Olympic gold medals.

Also a good interview with Jake on the Howie Games podcasts.
