FMD. Of course Carlton will always be Navy Blue. Not light blue, white, yellow, orange etc.
But I'm not at all concerned about one off changes for sponsorship or causes. Heck:
1. Bring back heritage rounds for old time sake jumpers
2. Eddiewood's conservatism is over the top. Keep your black and white but FFS make more of an effort to avoid clash jumpers. And yes, it can be done. It's just arrogance for their own cause when they know that a clash jumper can be designed.

100 point loss coming up

plus

no talent
poor list

agree - 100 point loss in orange socks - just a double nail into the carlton coffin....

Not happy about us wearing orange socks in support of the fight against Family Violence, eh?

im not happy about wearing orange socks.

The social agenda train will kill football and carlton - as I have said its about the intention to make money with no assurances that money will flow - disguised as a social agenda

given that football by definition is brutal (and some say violent in its nature )- its inherently conflicted to the message that the orange socks purport to represent

we are the navy blues - but hey - im just a dumb member that buys a membership, has no opinion, blindly accepts our club's administration, conforms and is a consumer theatre goer :donk:

Disgraceful comments

Wright named at CHF. Must have had some great duels with Armfield at Intra Club.

Initial thought is that is a pretty poor team, especially up forward however the 4 outs haven't been giving us much lately. We will need to invent new ways of kicking goals to even be competitive I suggest.

Oh and @#$%&! West Coast. Bunch of cauliflower.

I'm kind of excited by our potentially unpredictable forward-line.

My point is: how is wearing our original colour, on socks, ONCE, to show support for battered women, "trashing our navy blue brand over 150 years"?

My point is: start making sense rather than saying stuff and then when you get called on it, play the man.

My point is: when the club finally, finally, FINALLY moves into the 21st Century, no need to still have a go at things that kinda don't matter anyway.

I wouldn't have any issue if we ran out with a full orange uniform once a year if it lead to the desired behavorial changes. We change the jumper for indigenous round - imo, domestic vioennce is of greater signficance to the broader community

Forecast of nice day Saturday so J & J may actually play. That gives an inclusion of two talls with you would hope two runners.

Buckley and Whiley? Please not Tutt and Graham too one paced.

Too early for CC.

So happy with the match committee thus far (this week). Like to see KJ, Curnow, Jones, and Graham/Wiley. Not sure if Curnow is fit yet, so putting Buckley in would be fun. I know its not like for like, but mixing things up in the forward line wouldn't hurt. Something like pushing Tuohy into a mobile half-forward role (similar to what 1AW used to do) and letting Buckley run off half back. I'd be really excited to watch this game, irrespective of result, just to see these guys get a run. Just getting games into these guys is our future, either because they are getting experience, or proving they don't have a future with us.
