Ben Lennon & Bailey Rice recovered within 2 months. Alec Waterman has had it for over a year (WCE actually delisted him and picked him up as a rookie because of it).

Hopefully Charlie's good fitness base will help his cause.

Pretty sure that SOS had it as well fairly early on in his career

Annoying not mentioning so many injuries. Just sent club and coach a note reminding them about transparency promise.

The AFL site lists McKay at 5 weeks, Whiley at 'test', and Sheehan at 1, but I have NFI if they're just ticking over values or what.

The club hasn't updated their injury list on the OS since round 4.

So why aren't we hearing about Sheehan. Does that mean he is available?

They were flogged in the preseason, it's not surprising as their bodies just weren't accustomed to it.

As it becomes the norm I expect the bodies to become used to the extra training load.

They'd still be on the track if they had something like this in their suite of tools:

Sydney developed one years ago and sell it internationally, it's a big part of what makes them a powerhouse.

Two have niggles, one has a stress reaction that was caught early (which is why it's called a stress reaction), one has glandular fever and the final one injured it in-play.

You could only prevent 3 of them in theory (at least from a performance management perspective), and of those, you'd probably only suggest SOS' injury could have been better managed.

Much of a muchness really. JGM is also MIA right now, FWIW.
