Back in 2005 we belted Sydney by 15 goals in a NAB cup game and Steven Kenna ran amock, a few week later Pagan got his contract extended.
I've just come out of Katz Deli polishing off a Matso Ball Soup and a giant Pastrami on Rye.
I'll have what Brenden Bolton is having.

The 100 point belting of Sydney was 2004, and Pagan got the contract extended in 2005.
Funnily enough our recruiting at the end of 2003 was similar to all the retreads Essendon** have picked up. 2004 we won 10 games, but with a percentage of 80 it really flattered us, was Fevola heroics which got us over the line in at least half of those wins.
So Essendon** could be a bit more competitive than some expect, but at best I can only see them winning 5-6 at absolute most, if everything goes well. I think its odds on that us and them will be last and second last, only the order to be decided.[/quote
Year, that's how I see it too , we'll probably finish last pending on or luck with injuries to the more experienced players. Very important formative year will reveal plenty on the basic state of things and Bolton's methods and development of a varied and
young bunch of players.
