I don't do adulation Doc, I look at the actions as a whole and then compare to the barren years of backslapping and inactivity...Trigg and MLG clearly aren't looking to make friends but bring this football club into the 21st century, only way you can do that is through good governance, strategy and action at the the board and executive level and bringing your most important constituents along for the journey as if it's their own.

It's clearly happening, we are 8000 members off standing on our own 2 feet without a cent from the Pratts. A membership that was static in numbers but without the 5000 memberships dear beloved Jeanie bought the year before. That's factually and increase in real numbers of 10% already.

Inclusiveness will bring back the supporters, it's already happening and I have no doubt membership numbers will go up again this year. Will it be 8000, doubt it because we'll be putrid but I see 50k as certainly being reachable.

The sooner we can remove ourselves fm the clutches of the oligarchs the more members will come back, they despise the factions who use the club as their little play thing

Interesting comment. I know of a similar person. A professional, very successful, very networkable, works with the boys at the top end of town, but moved on because the board could not function.
