Out: Henderson, Menzel, Yarran, Bell, #20, #41 and 2016 4th rounder
In: #8, #11, #19, #60, Bulldog's 2016 3rd rounder, Kerridge, Sumner, Plowman, Phillips and Lamb

So Kerridge replaces Bell, Plowman replaces Henderson; good start.

Sumner and Lamb hopefully produce something that replaces what we hoped to get out of a fit and firing Menzel, and we get 8, 11 and move pick 20 up one spot while downgrading our third rounder a little bit and moving our 2016 4th rounder into this pool.

We win overall if Plowman and Kerridge deliver, but we should have secured pick 30 or 51 from the Dogs. It might seem small but, I've had it confirmed that when it comes to bids your updated pick is the points value conferred, not what it was at the start of the draft night, so pick 59 or 60 alone might pay for SOS, and pick 51 is set to turn into effectively pick 39 if St Kilda have to use (now) 45 on Rice.

We can setup our backline key position posts for the next 10yrs, and add a key forward.

We can rebuild our midfield in one draft.

Options galore.

Hopefully we're not targeting Collins or McKay at 11. Oliver at 11 would be good.

You would think that a football club that has had Visy as a sponsor for years would realise that raw materials always produces a better product than that of recycled rubbish.
We currently have 17 recycled players and 4 imported players on our list.
Half the playing group from recycled and important products

I hope they know what they are doing

When was the last time we had two picks inside the top 10?

When was the last time we had 4 in the top 20?

All of them came in at a discount except Thomas, some more than others obviously, but on the whole we've got them cheap. Only Jones and Tutt have been an abject failure this far.

I look at it this way

#19 = #20 (well almost)
Kerridge = Bell (near enough)
Plowman's platter = bag of peanuts

So effectively we have lost Hendo, Menzel and Yarran for #8 and #11.
Pretty solid outcome considering that Hendo was already out the door and Yarran put us in a tough position.
Would have liked to have held on to Menzel - I guess we need to put faith in our football dept regarding this decision. If he turns out to be a gun then I'll be very disappointed.

First one: 2005, we took Murphy and Kennedy.

Second one: not sure we have, close calls I can think of with 3 picks inside 20 (a few times due to priority picks) are 2000, 2005 & 2006.

Even Tutt hasn't been a complete bust. He count still have a role to play, especially if Armfield moves on.

It looks to me as though we will have the opportunity to make as big an impact on our list as the last 4 years combined.

Which is good considering we screwed flushed 70% of them down the shitter.

Hopefully we are targeting McKay (if we don't get someone like Weidaman) with one of those picks, Collins I'm not too fussed about.

Sorry that just doesn't make sense.

Yeah, whichever way i look at it, it doesnt add up.
I dont think its that great an outcome to be honest

Our options were:-

- 1,8,20,21 and Yarran
-1,8,12,20,21 (if Tigs caved)
-1,8,11,19 and have a good honest crack at Tomlinson (aggressive)
-1,8,19,20,21

If we had known we wouldn't get Tomlinson we may have gone about the whole thing differently.

Still happy we blew up the list. Should have did it in 2012. A new beginning.

20 & 21 were worth more to GWS for Tomlinson than 11, or even 8... we traded for 11 once GWS said no for Tomlinson

Didn't we offer up 11 and 19 for Tomlinson at the end? Twitter said we did.
