Forward line a huge concern. Really disappointed we couldn't get the Tomlinson deal done.
Jaksch & Casboult (much to club29 dislike) are going to be huge keys.
Rowe might now need to go back forward. Can Plowman, Phiilips or Weitering play forward?
We know Jones is useless......and really can't expect a draftee to hold down a KP in 2016.

Probably forgotten a key player?

If Rowe is still in the best 22 please pass me the cyanide.

Do you think Weitering can slot in at CHB in his first year?

If anyone can, Weitering can.

With all the kids we're trying to accelerate, it makes more sense to play an extra midfielder and try and get an extra runner ahead of the ball when in possession IMO.

Right now:

FB: Weitering Jamison Byrne
HB: Docherty Plowman Tuohy
C: Buckley Murphy Simpson
HF: Bokehorst Everitt Thomas
FF: Walker Casboult Armfield

RR: Kreuzer Cripps Gibbs

Int: Graham, Curnow, Kerridge, Holman

If we can improve our midfield win loss ratio and Bolton brings a better game plan there should be less pressure on our backline.

Blokes like Rowe wont be as much a liability as he was in 2015, or Jaksch may be preferred to be developed in the backline which may release Plowman to the midfield.

I can see the big bodies of Cripps, Plowman along with Gibbs continue to get first hands on the ball and dish it out to good runners like Murphy Boekhurst Kerridge Simpson and Docherty and Sumner.

If Sumner is fit in 2016 I suspect he will be the small forward at the feet of Casboult Everitt and Walker. Has pace to burn and kicks goals and provides forward pressure.

As many have already said, the forward line looks weak. We're genuinely a young team now and won't be left with just Cripps in terms of looking for these 'green shoots' the club keeps speaking of. The GWS 4, Kerridge and 5 new draft picks give us some new players to follow with interest and cross our fingers for.
I still don't have DVR or Smith near our best 22, but I hope they can push and play 10 or so games each in 2016 and show some signs.
I think Rowe will play a lot of football still in 2016, both forward, back and in the ruck. He gives us depth across the board which is at least useful to us.
Pressure on Boekhorst and Graham, who'll both be given plenty of midfield time this year. I hope they find another level.

Worth giving him a crack given his height and reach. Plowman, Simpson and Docherty can provide the chop out. If they're worried about him getting ragdolled by a given opponent, rest him and give Rowe the assignment.

Weitering trained with the lions last preseason and Leppa said he would've played him round 1 and all year.

Looking forward to a fit Thomas. Hopefully. Is basically a new recruit if he can get his body right.

Simmo Jammo Plowman

Casboult Jaksch Everitt

Kreuzer Murphy Gibbs

Sumner, Thomas, Kerridge, Boekhorst

* Assuming we can get C.Curnow or Weiderman. Kids of good size just needing strength to go with it. There's some big bodies about to help them.

No love for Byrne, Jim? I suppose if Sumner takes off and Boekhorst has a good pre-season it'll be a tough team to crack when fit, but maybe Curnow or Weideman won't be straight into the side?

On another site I was playing a Sunday game (lol) and had 7 on the bench, including Byrne and Sheehan.

You can bet your boots we'll rarely/never have the best 22 fit at one time either.
