You got your wish gerry.

Now for the juicy trades before Weitering takes the spot earmarked for Jakey.

I wonder if Ploughman becomes a midfielder or takes the 3rd tall with him maybe taking over the FB spot from Jamison in 2 years time.

Please don't trade Casboult!!!!! We've been paitent with him and are finally starting to see some promising signs. He just needs some decent delivery into the forward line and a coach that knows how to use him.

There is also the old adage, sell high and buy low.

Totally get that, problem is i can't remember a time when we actually pulled that off.

I doubt the hawks would take him with a 4th rd pick. They seem to do alright without overpaid duds.

Casboult was a rookie so we did buy him low, same with Tom Bell.

Understood. But we had another rookie on our list many years ago who showed amazing talent and potential and we traded him away just as he was coming into his prime because we wanted a couple of picks!

That player was Sam Jacobs and is now arguably one of the top 5 ruckmen in the game.

Would kill to have him on our list still.

I thought the time to trade Levi was last year when he was holding us to ransom but then we caved. But now I'm thinking this year is an even better year to trade him because he's contracted. Plus I don't like his manager McConville.

The game has gone away from power fwds, especially overpaid crap awaiting redemption.

You have an add recollection on why we traded Jacobs.

I agree. We overpaid, too. Being able to offload him (and a lot of his salary), and facilitate Bell's return home for family reasons, for a player like Aish would be a fantastic result.
