Isn't Hampson injured as well?

Cleared to play for this week, but he has been injured yes. Just pointing out that it's slim pickings for them in terms of tall forward options, and they may look to have Maric & Hampson deliver a ruck advantage and a height mismatch in defence.

I am confident but would feel better if Cripps was fit (scary that I am relying on a guy with <20 games experience...).

Sad... isn't it?

I'd rather Gibbs or Murphy out injured than a kid that's played just 14 games.

I bet you at least one of Cripps and Everitt don't make it.

It would be in Cripps' best interest if he had a week. Too young to push through if not 100%.

Out: Cripps, Whiley, Johnson, Graham, Boekhurst (he was terrible)

I thought Tutt played OK.

I thought Tutt was a big part of the reason why they skipped through the corridor many times.

Despite what they say on the website etc, I would be very surprised if Cripps plays. Why risk such a key young player in such a meaningless game if he's sore? Same with Docherty & Menzel. And wrap Graham up for the rest of the season if needed.

I don't mind using the likes of Whiley, Tutt, Ellard, Dick, Jones, Watson, even Johnson & Holman, as cannon fodder in the interim. Gives those blokes a chance to show they have a future in the AFL too.

Would love Cripps to play and gain all the experience he can get, but the season is shot as far as finals go, so why risk it? Also I agree we need to give the likes of Tutt, Dick, Watson, Holman and so on a regular go at it.

Against the Dogs when Cripps came off I was dead set shattered. I thought NOOOOOO would the gods be so cruel? We've just got Kreuzer back, and though he ain't tearing games apart just yet, its just so good to see him out there. If Cripps gets injured because of bad management I just don't know what I'd do. As good as he is (and boy oh boy is he good) he's still very underdone physically (can't wait to see his physique is two to three years time) but what good will he be if he does himself a serious longterm injury?

Rest him this week against Richmond. Make sure he's 100% right to play for the time being, at until he fills out a bit and hardens his body up for the rigors of week in week out top level footy. He's just too important to risk.

I'm the last person on this site to bag players but Jason Tutt is a VFL player at best. He has no strength over the ball whatsoever. He's pushed off his kicks too easily, knocked off the ball to easily and doesn't have the required skill/pace for an outside player.
Nowhere near the standard required. I don't like being critical of players and he may well be of some value to a strong side but he is a liability for us.
