You say Murph terrible again when he's been in the best for a month.

Those 2 play and you've got 2E and Yarran freed up.
No need to play Boekhurst,Tutt,Wiley.
Reckon Holman is worth persisting with.

If Jaksch turns out ok, which I think he will with another 6-8kgs, means Boekhorst and Whiley were essentially steak knives. Reckon those two will be ok with time, although we could've picked Boekhorst with a much later pick. Whiley just came with the package.

Could we have picked him later?

There are some fairdinkum deadset tools on this site.

This time last year Buckley, Bell and Graham were never going to make it. Many wanted them sacked and tossed on the scrap heap. Now those 3 are the future according to the same posters

This year it is BB and Johnson after a game or 2 are no good. Will you flower never learn??????????

Just shut the F@#$% up and give them a chance for goodness sake.

Inaccurate kicking.
Too many injuries.
Newbies have no impact, in fact they were a bit of a liability.
The Irishman was good in the backline.
Didn't like some of the efforts of Henderson, his chasing effort is pretty bad at times.
Casbolt was a bit lost today.
Kreuzer 9 tackles - well done.

Boekhorst is a worry.
It's why Rogers lost his job. Can see why now.

Early doors my a@@@. Again l repeat the pick 7 to 19 - 3 for 1 deal is looking like a bust.

BB is a Kane Lucas reincarnate. Spooked.

Whiley should jump into a Sandman Panel Van & drive off to a surf beach because he doesn't look like a footballer.

jaksch is where?

Tutt & Johnson do not offer anything.

There is 4 to 5 spots just there on the list where we need to upgrade.

Terrible match. Thought our big boys Levi Kreuz & Wood were especially disappointing

Have completely forgotten about him.

McKay said over summer that this was going to be very much a development year for Jaksch as he wasn't ready. Need more kgs. He was going to learn his trade as 3rd tall defender before moving forward when he was ready.

Tonight would have to be the youngest side we have fielded for a long time.

Probably the youngest in the league if not one of the youngest.

Well said. I thought BB was 'ok'.

As an aside....I hear Daniel is only 167....commentators touched on it briefly

I love tiny, speedy players.
We should recruit one as well.

Poor conversion saps confidence

Big Casboult sapped us of confidence at important times. We need to replace him with a better tall forward.

Overall that wasnt too bad a performance from the lineup we had.

Casboult isn't the problem.
He missed that one from the point line.
he dropped one mark he would usually take.
He kicked one of our six goals.
In the second hlf, the ball went into the F50 eleven or twelve times up to the last minute and a half.
Bit hard to do much when the game is being played in one half of the ground.

He still has less than fifty games IIR.or maybe just fifty. If you want to criticize anybody, look at Murphy, who had a shocker. Look at the midfielders who got thrashed in the clearances for three quarters of footy.

Casboult is still our leading goalkicker for the year and you want to replace him. Put someone next to him instead who can kick goals. Give him some crumbers. Do whatever but we didn't lose tonight because of him. We lost because the team we put on the park was collectively flat for three quarters and coouldn't capitalize when they had the running. Like Collingwood.

He was pretty crap and is every second week. The weeks he is ok are not that great. We get blinded by the 2 or 3 big marks against ordinary teams. For us to be a top 6 team we will need a better player in his position.

I agree we didnt lose tonight because of him.

Ok frustration getting the better of me. I was a bit harsh. But he has consistently put the ball at the feet of the leading forwards. His disposal for an elite midfielder has been poor. No biggie if you disagree.

Having said all that we want the kids to have a go and we got it

Johnson cripps graham boekhurst Whiley Holman Buckley -all under 15 games

Obviously all won't make it but graham and Buckley are now showing promise so we need to be patient

Obviously need more talent in the side and we need to be smart in the draft

The call on the boekhurst Jaksch Whiley trade is very premature lets give it a bit longer than 14 games

Players out tonight Gibbs Judd warnock ellard Rowe walker Docherty carrazzo together with Byrne and Sheehan
Disposal even for yarran and Simpson ordinary
Lost by 11 and if we had actually taken our opportunities and been less sloppy would have been closer

Bad kicking is bad football.
Blew any chance of a win in the 2nd and 3rd terms with bad kicking for goal.
Love Curnow's effort, but boy is he a butcher of the ball.
Levi needs to learn how to kick bananas. Has missed all 3 opps he s had at it in the past 2 matches.
Armfield needs to be less hungry, but love his tenacity.
Another good game by Bucks and Nick G.
Jamo solid on his return.
While isn't nowhere near Key Position backman.
Cant take a trick with injuries this year. Last week it was Menz and Doc This week its Dre and Cripps.
Holman and BB. Meh.
Feel sorry from Blaim J. Finally fights his way into the senior side, and the ball keeps getting delivered into 50 like a frisby on a windy day.

People who feared that winning may somehow paper over the cracks on our list and make SOS and co over estimate the list, no longer need to worry. Our deficiencies where laid out for all to see tonight.

Curnow butchered it tonight. Forwards butchered it tonight.
I am now prepared to do the right trade for Yazz.
Two down in last quarter didn't help.

I'll probably get howled down, but Curnow butchers it most weeks .

64% disposal and 2 inside 50's from an elite midfielder is not "one of our best" tonight. 7 tackles is a ripping effort however. Really good.

Players with higher disposal efficiency tonight:
Everitt
Bell
Caz
Hendo
TUTT!!!
graham
Jamo
Curnow
Johnson
Kruze
Simpson
touhy
White
Yazz
