SOS nails his answers in that interview, impressive.

Come a long way since his year as special comments man for 10!

Been saying it for years and couldn't agree more with every comment. It's just great to see and finally we have hope.

Did you ignore my post on purpose?

Listening to him and an interview Trigg had this morning you'd have to be happy with what we're hearing. No quicks fixes etc. Finally.

What was interesting was Trigg said that the majority of members didn't want a quick fix but a proper build back to the top. Amazing, members have known that for years, it's the club that is the last to realise.

I see it differently.

Yes members want that now but it won't be long until the members start complaining about losing and finding problems based on a short period of time and little sense. We are the worst at that. In a few years time when we are still an average team, members will jump up and down demanding success. The members are never wrong

I think the club needs to have it's plan but more importantly stick to it and make decisions based on success on the field even if it upsets members with some hard decision making. The club will never be able to please members. Well, at least until no 17 is lifted.

Totally agree with your last comment.

However, you must speak to different members than I do. Majority have been frustrated by the lack of planning and always looking for the quick fix. We have still lived in the 80's and most could see that. We are now seeing those issues addressed and I am happy about it and will now sit back with some real hope for the future. I know a lot of people are the same.

As for the negative people that will always complain, every club will have those people.

I feel Quayle is overrating SOSOS just to make a story

He's on the telly at the moment. But you wouldn't know it.

Exactly.

1 disposal on Friday too.

Vic metro being pretty useless wouldn't help.

I think Quayle is also overlooking the potential to trade for extra picks before the bidding on draft night.

Vic metro look like kids, real kids.

The SA team a bigger, stronger, faster and are playing a great style.

You can tell half the SA team have been in senior football programs in the SANFL, just far more professional.

Even their jumpers are tight.

Straight forward?

Looks pretty straight forward.
A few issues, Walker has 2 years of a contract to run. Carrots is playing good footy.
I think you are close to what will happen but as we all know there are always surprises in trade period and it all depends on Hendo.
There is also the possibility that any father/sons wont be in our first 2 round draft selections. Who is the 3rd? Bradley?

I hope Walker can regain some form then!!! He is a shell.

Carrots has never been the same since the scum mauled him.

Hendo will re-sign, I have no doubts.

Yeah I've got no idea where Bradley will go. Might end up a rookie?

In Walker's case he's been smashed by fitness and injury. I'd like to see him next year when he's fit.

Is anyone able to post SOS's half time (Vic Metro vs SA) interview tonight on Fox Footy? Would love to hear what he was saying.

Yeah, saw that on the big screen at the RSL, but no audio. Thought immediately of Wookie.

Yet Vic Metro usually dominates the U/18 Champs and Vic Country have won this years. Playing against Men is totally overrated!!

Bidding process should give us a pretty fair idea.

The nice thing about Father/Sons is the sentiment, no chance in hell we overlook a Silvagni, we are talking about Carlton Royalty here.

Re Yarran

Re-sign him long term ?

Trade him this year for a #10-20 pick ?

Let him walk via FA next year and get another top 10 compensation pick ?
