True fans don't use their Memberships as bargaining tools in an ultimatum.
The comments really annoy me. What is a "true" fan?
People are frustrated, they are emotional, that is what following a football club is like for a lot of people and as such they react in different ways. For this once great club it is hard to handle.
Argue the pro's and con's but everyone has the right to protest (peacefully) in their own way.
I m not saying not to voice your opinion, or not send off letters to the board or the CEO or whoever.
Hell, I'm even hoping that some sort of Ticket can be formed to challenge the idiots on our current Board.
But to threaten the Club with a 'do this or that, or I wont renew my membership' I think, isn't the right way of doing things.
All l am saying is l wont be signing up next yr if the flog is still at the club next yr. l paid my 6-700 during the pagan years and l accepted that. Went to majority of home games. We knew we were in a rebuild. What is going on this yr is beyond belief. To imply l am not a true supporter is a bit ....
I just wont put up with my money going in to his pocket while he delivers nothing. l hope the club makes a decision soon.
and last time l checked the board doesnt talk to thr players, dont design and implement the game plan and train the players. This is all on malthouse. the board gave him everything. His own assistants , his son, wood and the pies fitness coach. Sure the board is flower but dont confuse the onfield with offield matters
Good post Goltz.
We should look at each separately, but also as one of the same.
2 wrongs dont make a right.
Problem One: The Coach and his Coaching team. The players are not playing for the coach.
The coaches game plan is questionable every week.
There is no link between the midfield coaches inside and outside players, or players behind them (backs) or in front of them (forwards).
The players are underprepared, and fade in the 2nd half on a regular basis.
