..does it have to be with norf?, I'd rather merge with the dee's.. ..we get roosy.. ....we get 28 flags.. ..barassi is a one club champion.. ..all games, and training, at the mcg, standalone reserves from p.p.. ..we reunite the football club with the MCC.. ..we get a captain in N.Jones..

..expansion type draft goodies..

I'd prefer the Bulldogs TBH, but I'm not sure how that would work geographically.

Does it matter?

Personally i like idea of north because of the blue and white and "The Northern Blues" thing. They get North in there and we get Blues.
Good times.

....of course North would also have to keen on such a great opportunity and then the AFL would have to wheel and deal with TV rights and such to make the whole thing work.

It's nice to dream.

Jump from the 90's to modern times Synbad.

Teens will be rocking up to watch the Blues in droves at the MCG as we match it with the big guns in the afl. With their iwatches and iglasses that allow you to zoom right in on the play and switch to spider cam mode. All while checking tinder at the same time.

You will be at home yapping on about how bad the late 2000's were to a few on a footy fan forum.

Be bold my friend be bold.

your pulling chains club and theyre falling for it

they know this cub is a stinking carcass .. and not a new board and hard work can turn it around.. but a merger with north

its funny it has traction

full points in displaying where this club is at right now...

take a bow....

I thought Synners wanted us to think big.

But a big idea frightens him.

Think he'd rather a small club he can keep kicking until it disappears .

He's hoping for the biggest "I told you so" in TC history.

Not the case.

I see a great opportunity. A sensible forward thinking idea that would see us get ahead of the pack. I think it is worth exploring.
Nothing comes easy. A bit of sacrifice and we are back in the game in a huge way.
A new board and hard work will not get us to the level i am speaking about. That would get us top 6 at best. I am talking about matching it with the Pies, Hawks and * on and off the field. A Melbourne super club with a stranglehold on the northern corridor of Melbourne.

It sounds like it's all a bit tough for you or you are pissed off that you didn't come up with such an controversial suggestion yourself.

I have.

Time for you to add something rather than bunnies and carcasses.

What's wrong with the ideas.?

More importantly, what's wrong with discussing it?.

If you can't add anything stick to topics you feel comfortable with.
