Watson has worked himself back into form with the extended opportunity afforded to him by Jamison being subbed out. Good to know we have plenty of forward options.

..am a Watto fan, if he can string enough games together i Think he should really come on this year..

I take my earlier comments on Murphy's speed back; showed quite the turn of pace there!

We would be a top 6 team with Hawkins in our lineup.

Unlucky.

..I was surprised when you mentioned it, Murphy is pretty quick, especially when he shifts diagonally..

Cripps, Carrazzo, Murphy, Judd, Bell and Thomas winning plenty of football but it's a but of a drop away from there, which is why we're down 300 possessions to 370. :(

We didn't need this practice game. We can shoot out ourselves in the foot and lose a close one against the cats in our sleep.

Plenty of positives to take out of the game after a very poor 30 minute period from half-way through the first quarter until half-way through the second.

We had some good patches today with some promising signs from the new guys.
Can't afford to be patchy in the real games though.

Waton can't play in the league side.

If we have good delivery he won't get separation.

If we bomb it in he doesn't pack mark.

Like or not Casboult is the better option, plus he rucks and can tackle.

Question is are you prepared to forego a couple of goals for a better 2nd ruck though... ?

..bolt is back up ruck, different role.. ..watto didn't get involved enough I agree, but still a better game than Jones, less experience and two yrs less in system.. ..hendo needs better quality to help him out, kj should be given a run if Jones or watto don't fire..

What goals?

Watson might get a handful against shit sides, but he won't worry any team in the top line.

At least Casboult will give us a genuine target up the ground and near goals and we must have a back up ruck.

happy with that.
Finally saw some hope from our tall forwards although there is still some way to go.
Mezel good
Not sure who our small forward will be... Tutt didn't really get a chance. Smith appeared ok but not enough experience
Desperately need a ruck who can do stuff after the tap.
Cripps and bell and carrots did well. Murph got into it as the game went on.
Not much from BB - and didn't hear much about White.
Curnow got very little of it.
How did dick go? (careful....)
