Good to have a hitout against a top team. Reading about how the pies got demolished by the doggies, not sure we have put our senior team up against a decent team yet. Cant understand the omission of buckley sheehan and Graham but I suppose they will get their chance through the NB.

Armfield played the WCE game, but he's a bit meat and potatoes and his form is well established. Will play a role through the season.

May give us even more fexibility when we need to uleash Yarran and/or Simpson into the midfield mix, pusching forward.
Not good for Buckley and a great chance for Clem.

Interested to see if Dick can kick with acuracy.
Another challenge to prove they belong for Tutt, Jones, Broekhurst, Clem.
Biggest challenge today is for Watson. He has to show some form if hes to be considered for round 1.
His season may just slip by in a blink...out of sight out of mind syndrome.

No doubt Gibbs Yarran Simpson will be pushing at least 3 out of todays side.
