Admirable player, but limited skills and can't hit targets. Doc the opposite and is the future.

Docherty isn't an admirable player?

But he has unlimited skills! Wow! Get him in asap!

Can't see us coming within two cahoots of this mob unfortunately. .

Just hoping we show a bit of spirit and mongrel and keep it to a reasonably tight game. Fingers, arms, legs and eyes crossed!

Gees the blues would want it to be very wet on Friday! We have a lot of slow runners thru the middle , total opposite to the pies who are very quick ! Would have thought Army would be a better replacement for yaz

I don't agree ... when we move the ball fast in dry conditions we are a much better team. The wet could take us back to the old fashioned start/stop Dr Strangelove tactic. In short ... we would be stuffed.

I think we are a strong chance their backline is very iffy. We have the forwards to worry them We should put a stopper on Maxwell let him be accountable. Blues by 12pts

^Mitch Robinson.

They've only beaten Richmond, Essendon* and North (they always beat the Swans in Sydney). I don't rate any of these sides.

Having said that, I don't rate us as that good either so in short, we'll probably be added to the list of mediocre opponents they've beaten.

I'll be happy if we get to within one cahoot of them.

Are you talking about NICK Maxwell?

I say - let him be himself.

The Pies have big heads at the moment. A few articles in the last 48 hours quoting Pert and Buckley, it seems that everything is perfect at Magpie land.

When teams get like this and start talking like this, they start relaxing. It is time the Blues burst their bubble.

Maybe the conditions won't be so bad.

Forecast: Cloudy. Scattered showers, mainly in the afternoon. Winds northerly 15 to 25 km/h becoming light in the evening.

Don't think rain would disadvantage the Pies, as thy re a pretty good contested footy team.

Wet weather footy always helps the lesser team. Thats why the dome is such an unfair venue, top sides will always smash the lesser likes.

But even with wet weather we are no match.

Reckon Marley Williams might be a touch underdone.
Only played 1 reserves match since the early weeks of NAB Challenge.

This game features a Jarrad, a Jarrod and a Jarryd. There needs to be a law against crap like this.

I am worried about their midfield as it looks like it's hitting its peak. Ours on paper is so so but still not as good and under done.
Top 6:

Pendlebury, Beams, Swan, Ball, Sidebottom and Young.

Murphy, Gibbs, Carrazzo, Thomas, McLean and Robinson.

We better have a better plan for Elliot and Blair this time. It seems like the Collingwood smalls always get the better of us!
