I'm not confident of winning at all. Purely because of previous poor performances. I'll tell you one thing though, nothing will stop me from rubbing it in to every and any single drug cheating supporter out there if we pull off a win!!!

Scotland was looking pretty slow toward the end of last season. I think he's only there for insurance against injury.

He's a mature age rookie. Can he be played if we don't have a LTI?

Although, now we do   .

Me too

Scotland has body strength and uses it when its his turn.

Then we all know he's elusive and a playmaker with good skills on either side of his body.

Granted his skills may deteriorate with age, but he's still better than those you mention....imo

He was made the nominated rookie with Cachia before the season. Can play whenever. However his VFL form has been pretty poor.

I currently find that I am 'teaching myself not to care' ...

This is how bad this club is making me feel...that I have to get up every morning and tell myself 'there's more to life than football, who gives a shit?'

I had hope once...my window year was 2014...and look at the shit!

These boys better surprise me soon or my football soul will never be the same again.

The club has my membership money, so I get the feeling they're done with me now (unless we have a raffle, of course).

Trying to not be negative but can someone tell me why Rowe continues to get a game -gee our big man key position stocks are terrible if he continually does - secondly how slow and cumbersome is our interchange bench apart from lucas the rest are as slow as treacle and particularly the midfielders

I don't give us a chance. We have been poor so far and I just can't see where we will improve. I joined days after Ellit left and haven't missed a beat but I am eyeing the Rebels and the Storm now days. I've invested a bit emotionally these past 10 or more years and I don't feel I can keep it up.
McKay said Kruizer will be back before the finals but surely they are out of reach. It seems we've gone backwards since Ratten left. At least he unleashed our attacking play.
Footy is getting depressing :|

I want us to win because I hate Essendon* and I am going to the game (against my better judgement) but I'm not too sure how much benefit our club will get out of another "against the odds/win one for gipper" game.

The blow torch needs to be continually applied to our Board at the moment, a win will only give them more breathing space.

WE ARE NOT GOING TO FINISH IN THE 8......GET REAL!!!!!
That is the reason why we have to start blooding the youth.....
This year will be a failure unless we get some games into them, we will know who can play....Plus also bonus is we get better draft picks at the end of the year.

They are the leech sucking the enjoyment out of this game for many of us.

I disagree.

He's not going to take Dylan Buckley's NRS nomination lying down.

Carrots will be on fire this week!

I had a dream last night that we beat them by 1 point thanks to David Ellard kicking a point late in the game

Going in without a recognised ruckman is something I desperately hope we can capitalise on. If we don't - we're [REDACTED].

They may use the 3rd man up trick to knock the ball their way. If that's the case I hope we go 4th man up. Then they go 5th and we go 6th, them 7th us 8th and so-on.

Our advantage is they'll have to use either Daniher or carlisle which robs them of either a key forward or key defender. But even when they do that, 206 should have no trouble getting it to our mids - SURELY!!!
