He is a developing KPD who had a bad quarter. Even SOS had his bad days so why don't you give the kid a chance to respond,

If they bleed they can be killed.

Got a faint feeling we'll win because I sure aint over confident.

I'm hoping the players lift not just for the 4 points, but also for their reputation let alone the possibility of a spot in the finals.

I'm an optimist. I believe we have the players to win.

Haven't thought about who to drop or elevate.

TEX is out! Graham is in? Cripps?

This game is going to be pretty physical I believe.

We should win this. The Tiges have 4~5 guns and a lot of ordinary players. They have one decent key position player - jack r. -who is very inconsistent. We need to sort out the midfield. To slow, the best 2 of curnow, ellard, bell and McLean play, the other two replaced by any young player on the list with talent. Play Levi, give him lots of games, and see if he has a future. Big k is ruck or nothing, even if we play him as a midfielder with Warnock in ruck. Might not work, but he needs to start playing like a #1 draft pick. I love him, but his time is now. I'd pick him ahead of Warnock, but that's not the way we are going, we are on the way to turning big k into a mediocre spare parts player.

Also ... we have Dr Strangelove.

Isn't he in his 4th season? By my mathematics that's more than one bad quarter of football from Matthew Watson.

His legs are glued to the ground and he is pea-hearted. Giving him a chance to respond at this point of his career, is just extending his and our pain.

If we want to win, we need to be much more ruthless in our decision making as to who sticks around this club. This process should have started in Ratten's 3rd year.

Play the kids and rookies and let Mick develop them. We'll take our lumps and lose and probs finish bottom 3, but at least we will be heading in a direction. Not wandering around aimlessly week after week with one good performance followed by two bad ones.

Not too mention we'll start rebuilding with draft picks and at least have a chance to build a list the right way with Mick over seeing it.

We need run

Lucas and Buckley must come in

Drop one of Kruz or 206 can't have 2 average rucks who can't play fwd

No agility or speed

He's a first ruck or twos player

Henderson has to play back (cause there is no other tall other than Jamison who can do the job).
Casboult to take Henderson's spot up forward.
Cripps at least as the substitute.
Graham and Buckley need to be considered.

But hey ... whatever Dr Strangelove and the MC decide is good enough for me (you can't argue with 1 premiership in 18 years).

Can't argue with

I don't mind the idea of Kreuz going back against the Tiges. Might be the match up for Vickery that we don't have every @#$%&! time we play these goons. Also agree with the need for speed, although Lucas scares the bejesus out of me. Quick spread Vs soft and questionable skills. Tough call (Every time I see him play I just think why the @#$%&! didn't we take Talia). Dylan Buckley must play. Showed enough in the NAB to warrant his chance. Could be perfect as the sub. Injection of speed later in the game. For mind, Gibbs must go back this week with Walker out. May not have the speed of Walker but, get it into his hands coming out of D50 and let him set it up with his good kicking, decision making and vision. Also forces him to go both ways, which he does well when he knows he has to. If Armfield ready to go, bring him in, also.

B:Tuohy Jamo Watson

HB: Gibbs Kreuzer Simpson

C: Yarran Curnow Thomas

HF: Ellard Henderson Robinson

F: Garlett Waite Menzel

Foll: Warnock Murphy Bell

I/C: McLean Everitt Armfield

Sub: Buckley

Emerg: Cripps, White, Lucas

Ins: Buckley, Armfield
Outs: McInnes, Walker

Watson stays in by the skin of his teeth, only because I don't know that replacing him with White gives us any gain and Bitchmond play 3 tall forwards in Riewoldt, Vickery and Griffiths. Though I have no problem with White coming in for Watson.

The sub off, barring injury of course, should be Daisy. His fade out of the game was earlier than anyone in the side and couldn't kick over a jam tin by the start of the 3rd quarter. In fact, if he is so underdone, it may even be worthwhile running him in the 2s for a couple of weeks to build his motor up, because quite frankly, he as much as anyone last week should bear responsibility for it going so wrong. Missed 2 absolute sitters and another very kickable that could have made a big difference going into the last quarter. Probably still would have been over-run in the end, but going into 3/4 time 3 up would have made things a little more interesting.

There are definitely still weak links in that team, but there are plenty in the Richmond side also. This game is winnable. but it could also go horribly awry. If we are going to make any impression this season, this is a must win. Go Blues!

So White in for McInnes, then.

WOW, unless we've made a mistake on site it also looks like he was our most recent Rising Star nominee:
