we have been rebuilding since SOS retired,

problem is at this club rebuilding is a dirty word - it is always denied

Tonight showed where the game is heading.....and we simply don't have the list. GCST and GWS have real no.1 picks, not the guys we got. Compare them.....it makes you laugh.

When you get picks 1 3 5 7 9 you have to get a couple right...

I've only been able to watch the second half but that was pathetic.
About ten minutes into the third I actually went to the start of the thread to see if Thomas had been a last minute sub. He might as well have been. I know he is under done but he had no influence on the second half at all. One point and two turnovers for the half.

This was lost in the selection and then lost again with the sub. Bell is a runner even if he wasn't getting a lot of it. Warnock, Kreuzer and Bell had one thing in common after Bell went off. Their possession count. Well dome Mick. And Menzell had one kick and one handball IIR. Too late. He should have come on ten minutes into the third when we were getting killed in the middle. We have one of the elite midfields and got thrashed by a ruckman nobody has ever heard of and a bunch of second year mids.

Decent football executed by repeatedly dumb players.

If there was a recognised statistic for the amount of effort put into a scoring opportunity once in possession, we'd be the worst in the competition. The worst.

You can't have players repeat the same mistakes under 3 different coaches and say it's just the coach. Shame on the coach for not trying harder to correct, shame on the players for continuously doing it.

Same. I thought it was just because I was so busy with work and the whole Essendon* saga dragging out for so long.

I realise now it's because I have no faith in our team whatsoever, therefore little hope.

I am normally a very optimistic supporter, but we are a bottom four contender.

And Walker should be left in the VFL for about 22 weeks.

Walker played his career best footy as a forward two or three years ago. That's where he should be.

Seems more of a lack of mental fitness issue to me.

What about our so called Captain? Pathetic. On 2 or 3 occassions he choose to handball to others rather than take the responsibility for slotting the goal. I'm sorry but he aint Captain material. Wlaker - turnover King. Looks great but highly ineffective. Robbo - has a crack but kicks it anywhere and usually straight to the opposition.

Lets face it Port arent a top 4 contender. Tonight they made us look like a bottom 4 side.

No chance of making the 8 and I am prepared to call the season as good as over now.

Kreuzer has been likened to Josh Fraser, but that's being unfair to Josh. Our midfield was one of the best but not now. We need to play Buckley for leg speed and Cripps for his ball getting and quick hands, but the truth is, this club has rapidly become a bottom 4 or five side. No fwd line, a very suspect back line, ordinary rucks, ageing rapidly.......the list goes on.

Pro: cancelled my membership three years ago and haven't regretted it for one second.

Con: the club continually call me at inconvenient times asking me to re-sign.

Watch a game from 2011, then watch the replay of tonights game and apart from personnel, what's changed? Not a single thing

In fairness, Port are easily the fittest side in the comp.
