But it says it's for the game vs Adelaide.

What happened to the heritage jumper for when we play Collingwood, Richmond and Essendon*?

Oh Ok.

I am hoping for the 70's jumper for the 4 games. That to me is the most iconic Carlton jumper. We will see I suppose.

Thanks Dane

I'd rather they revived the M&M jumper for the Crows game.

Having said that, I do like that the club has made an effort to acknowledge past premierships. I just don't the visual result.

I'm a little apathetic toward what they wear so long as it's predominately navy blue.

The CFC monogram has been around since at least 1872 but didn't appear on the jumper until 1909. It's essentially the 1910-1926 monogram.

Would have much preferred the 70s-80s version, personally.

Well with the shiny new jumper and fabric they use it doesn't even look close to being navy blue to me. It looks like it has been washed too many times and the navy blue is faded out. With all the money Nike gets surely they could at least understand what navy blue is?

I preferred it when they wore NAVY BLUE and they wore the proper monogram. So as it stands right now we don't see them in
"the old dark navy blues" and we don't see them in the proper monogram (1920s-1997)...but at least it is something remotely similar to the old Carlton. Who's complaining? She'll be right mate. I'm being pedantic wanting to see a link with the real Carlton. Gonna let it go. It could be worse...they could be wearing white guernseys when they they "clash" with St Kilda...oh sorry, that happens too.

not navy blue- washed out blue.

navy blue.

Yep, thats the jumper I want (the greg williams one).

Why didnt the club do a survey and ask its members what jumper they should wear in this 150 celebration. ? Too late now, they made up their minds.

Some say that the half-arsed, lazy, cheap, Nike doesn't even know what colour navy blue is ..and they make trillions per year without knowing the fundamentals of design. Here is their version of "navy blue"

vs the Navy Blue of old...before Nike controlled the gig.

I'll take great recruitment and development, and you can have ANY colour jumper. I'm not big on those symbols.

I'd flower the Union Jack off from our flag, because it's irrelevant, but it's not sacred to me - either way. It's just a flag. People didn't die for IT, they died for something completely different.

Same with the jumper. People don't play for IT. They play something different.

Tee hee..... jack off....
