Can we get a Psychologist's Best 22 quota system in place?

Somewhat confident that Menzel & Graham will work themselves into the opening game.
Don't like messing with the backline too much but if Docherty is good to go then Walker goes forward.
No first year players will be in the opening team. CHB is the only post that looks somewhat uncertain to me.

Nice looking team Harker. I'm reserving judgement on Docherty until 1) he's officially a Carlton player and 2) I've actually seen him play!
I think I could squeeze Yarran in too
Do you think Scotland will be on our list next year?

Missed Yarran. Graham out and Yarran in.

I'd just like to think that every player we attain is for an immediate purpose.
It doesn't always work out that way but just don't like the idea of trading for back-ups.

I think that we may just be waiting to see what transpires through the trade period.
If we do top the cap up then there may be no Scotland next year. I don't think that Heath is calling the shots in this as much as McKay may have indicated.

Even if we sign Docherty, I'm not sure he'll walk into our best 22. Not because he'll always be a back-up, but because he might need another couple of years to develop. From the little I've seen of him on TV, it looks like he's still got the L plates on. He's only played about a dozen games I think. Same draft as Bootsma. He'll get games into him, but the likes of Armfield, Cachia, Ellard might be preferred at times in the short term.

Key is how Watson returns from the off season - what sort of shape will he be in? If he returns in good shape and shows he can play as a key defender in the pre season then

B: McInnes Jamison Walker
HB: Docherty Watson Tuohy
C: Thomas Gibbs Simpson
HF: Garlett Henderson McLean
F: Menzel Waite Yarran
R: Kreuzer Murphy Judd

I: Carrazzo, Robinson, Armfield, Graham, Scotland, Warnock, Casboult etc....depends on ruck choice and Henderson position.

No doubt I've named someone twice and left a gun out!

What's with all the love for Mcinnes. He is an average player. Now way in our best 22

He makes poor decisions, average by foot. Isn't tall enough

Everitt is the opposite. Athletic, mobile, a good kick and taller than Mcinnes.

Certainly looks stronger then the team that ran out against the Swans in the Semi final.
Hoping to see some more of Graham and Buckley next year.

On the 2013 version, Id have to agree with you.
He was embarrassing at times (the game against the Scum in Rnd 22 comes to mind).
However, have to cut the kid a lot of slack as he was returning from a major knee injury.
He showed his worth in the latter stages of 2012 though, so I guess we re all hoping he can re discover that form again..

Swap Hendo and Waite around, and I think that's what will be the go next year ...

No Garlett, Curnow and two extra talls? Why?

Surely Everitt plays in a key post or takes Mcinness' spot in the backline ?

Jimmae, what two extra talls?

Everitts best football has been as a running defender or pushing up on a wing. He may be tall but he doesn't play that way. Think Andrew Mackie.

Curnow had a great year as a tagger but I believe as we get better and develop midfield depth MM might not use that role and Garlett is good and will enjoy the space created by Betts leaving but IMO for him to be a regular in a top side he needs to contribute more up the field.

and who goes out? Also missing are Robinson Watson, Armfield, Ellard, Bell, Pick 13, Lucas, Bootsma who could easily be in the side as well.
