Paf is that a quote from Ogden's Nut Gone Flake at the bottom of your posts? What excellent taste!

I would have liked to have got more than pick 28 for him...as he is an experienced ruckman. We have done the work on him to develop his game - maybe two picks from Richmond is fairer.

What happens if Warnock or Kreuzer is injured ?

Do we rely on Casboult in the ruck?

Surely there is a better option than Casboult?

My god two good ruckman on a list is enough

We could have had him 14 years ago with Pick 31 - that we gave to Geelong for Michael Mansfield in the 1999 Draft. Great player but way too late, will be really P155ed if we do this.

While I generally don't want us to recruit any old players, Chappy is the one I would make an exception for.

He is a winner, exactly the type of player we lack, and could have a really good influence over the culture of the group for a year or two.

I agree.

and he costs nothing.
Geelong have definetely cut him.
So how much would he cost?
Bugger all I guess ($250? max).
One year contracts
He'll be good for 2 years, and I do expect a few more soft tissue injuries to become troublesome.

But when he's available against Hawks, we might need him if we are going to get that hoodoo off our back.
And if he's primed for finals, that would be good too.

Yep, roughly 90% of the stuff I listen to is mid to late sixties rock/pop.

I'm happy to see this list get turned over and different kind of players brought in. I'm sick of the same heads week in week out. It hasn't works for us for 7 years and it's time for change.

Hopefully we can do a deal for docherty and savage. Land lambert and thorp in the draft.

The three amigos are no longer.

Docherty and graham will slot in down back freeing up walker/touhy to push up into the middle more and generate more outside run.

Frees up Yarran to run amuck all over the ground.

Daisy, Lambert and Carrazzo will be welcomed additions to the middle.

Savage and Menzel along side Gartlett and Waite. Throw in Thorpe at CHF

THIS IS WHAT ID LIKE TO SEE.

Aren't we supposed to hate Malthouse for only coaching us to spite Eddie?

What's Chapman's motivation to play at Carlton exactly?

I was told a couple weeks back to expect a different looking Carlton side next year, and not just playing personnel, changes to how we set up structurally.

Young rookie...still eligible

Sorry ..couldn't resist.

Hampson is a win-win for now. Next step, how we use the pick!

Docherty? Play hard ball with Brisbane. They are imploding. Especially if Docherty has selected us. (Has he)?

What is Chapman going to do other than take a spot in the 22 from a younger player?
If we were contending for a premiership, great. Otherwise, I see little value in picking up a 32 year old half forward with bad hammys.

This Carrazzo guy is almost like a new recruit for Malthouse seeing he missed most of Micks first year as coach. A handy new recruit he will be for MM if he can stay on the park

So grrofung yourself

Chapman to mentor Menzel
Chapman to teach Garlett and yarran how to put their heads over the ball
Chapman nearly qualifies as a champion who can set the tone for the whole group
Chapman for 1 or 2 years with the potential of an assistants role at the bullant

I could handle him getting the last spot on our list
