Yep! I was hoping it was going to be a Carlton section. I'm guessing so. Heading up there by myself so keen to meet up for some drinks before with some people.

I'd love to fit in Casboult to allow Kreuzer to man up on the ruck, Mumford or Pike in their forwardline, because they will eat McInnes, but I'll even be happy with no change, just as they played.

No Casboult and no Brock.

Kreuzer looked pretty sore arriving at Visy this morning from what I saw on TV. If I was Casboult or Rowe, I'd be making sure I have a good week on the track, just in case....

I'd keep McInnes in the side unless he is really sore.

If Brock gets up, perhaps he comes into the 21 and Garlett or Yarran as Sub? Menzel might be the unlucky one to make way?

Brock won't be playing. He re-injured his injured leg - that's it, all over red rover. Providing yesterdays side is fit, keep as is or maybe Ellard for Menzel. We'll win with that side or at least come very close.

We're in the final 6....that's pretty good from where we thought we'd be 3 weeks ago.

I want to beat Sydney just to blow a massive hole in Roos' "more pre-seasons" theory.

Watching Nick Duigan, with bristling mo, slotting four yesterday was like watching D’Artagnan the fourth musketeer. If he plays forward in Sydney I can see the 'little helpers' morphing into the three musketeers - swashbuckling and totally unpredictable. Eddie just needs to regrow that mo.

Unfortunately for McInnes, he's the man to make way. No changes other than that unless theres an injury.

Doc Larkins on 3AW said McLean wont play.

Dont listen to him, he's the last to know.
Called Mitch out of the game for a hammy, just before he jogged back onto the ground. Lol

he does look and play like a musketeer. great analogy.
I reckon we all have a right to wonder why it took MM so very long to give Duigs another chance?
I hope he stays with us. next year too.

How much of Duigan forward worked due to it being a surprise tactic I wonder? Hardwick said they knew all along that Mclean wouldn't play, but I'm sure they weren't banking on him playing 3rd tall forward.

Remember last year when he kicked 3 against Collingwood as a defensive forward, but then it being a complete bust the following week against Nth.

Warnock and impact around the ground isn't the greatest of arguments either.

Which is precisely why I don't think your point that other clubs play three ruckmen has any relevance to us. The players you include as their "ruckmen" also do handy things like winning Colemen medals etc.

Ours don't.

Just on that, not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere but neither Kruezer or Warnock took a mark between them on Sunday.

Obviously it's not a strength of Warnock's, and I noticed that at times it was like he was trying to force the ball into the direction of running team-mates rather than going for something that he has a minimal chance of doing and running the risk of being outmarked, or not even at best being able to half the contest.

I noticed RooTsy said our Hendo isn't good one on one in defence, but Jamo was. He said you had to expoit the weaknesses in players.
Made me think we should maybe play Hendo forward this week?

..Krooz on his own took the hawk's rucking department to the cleaners.. ..Knockers and Krooz had minimal impact after the tap, yes.. ..Krooz got injured early, may not be right for this week.. ..but Knockers had 30 taps at 37% to adv., plus kicked a goal.. ..Krooz had 20 taps at 41% to adv, laid 4 tackles and had 8 1%ers.. ..if Krooz somehow is right to go, play them both again.. ..the service our mids were getting was first class last week..

That must be some other Henderson who gives Twavis a bath most times.

Back pocket coaches typically don't like university graduates and ‘D’Artagnan’ Duigan must have said the wrong thing to MM early. Despite Sunday’s heroics, he’ll start sub as has versatility. Small forwards typically struggle against Swans so good reason to bring in Bolt and seeing him hobbling on Monday suggests Kruze may have re-cooked his calf. Need speed so Menzel to start on flank, Yaz goes back and in comes Lucas and Cachia.
So
Backs: Jammo, Scotland, Hendo, Tuohy, Yazz, Walker
Centre: Lucas, Judd, Simmo
Forwards: Waite, Casboult, Menzel, Garlett, Betts, Army
Ruck: Warnock, Murphy, Gibbs
I/change Robbo, Bell, Curnow Cachia
Sub: Duigan

Watching hendo every week, he is a brilliant 1 on 1 defender.
