Was out with my sons footy all afternoon and haven't seen a minute. Was only checking the twitter updates.

The heart in mouth feeling every time i went for an update was unbearable in the last quarter.

Didn't think we would win and by all accounts we were ordinary for large parts. But so rapt we did, had a tear in the eye and I haven't watched a minute!

Can't wait to watch the replay.

Warnock's clumsy spilled mark in the last couple of minutes almost undid his good work in the 4th.
I've been critical of his tap work but in the last he actually tapped it away from the scrum of players into a bit of space.
I still think he should be first player on the trade table.

That match was hard going! Was listening to it on SEN, seemed the last quarter just kept going once we hit the front.

At this stage we're in the finals, not how we wanted it but flower it we're in it to win it now!

The thing about us and Richmond is that we know we can beat them and so do they.
We play them on the MCG where pace and space are the keys.
It's up to the MC now to pick a fast team and let them carve Richmond up. MM has to bite the bullet and let the team play to its strength like he did for the last bit of tonight.
Ratts put this list together to play fast break footy and whether MM likes it or not, that is what they are good at. He can't make them play a style of footy they aren't suited to and I think that's why they've been a mixed bag this season.

Great final term tonight. Take that into next week and anything could happen.

Do we appoint James Hird as our coach if we become the only team to ever win the GF from ninth or do we just canonize him for getting us to the finals.
