They can give him Hird's spot.

One of the best finals performers ever - absolutely a big game player -fabulous will to win -tough uncompromising -dominator was such an apt name for him - dont usually advocate violence but hitting dipper in 87 crucial as they had monstered us for a number of years and Harry putting down Tuck in the same game signalled we were not going to take it any more
Good interview

I remember him having another B.O.G. 30+ possessions game in the '88 Qualifying Final against Collingwood.

One of our greatest!!

My favourite player too - had him on the back of my duffle coat :)

Amongst many great games remember him tearing Nth apart at Waverley Rd 1 1984 -five goals and 31 kicks, 7 goals v WCE at PP, the Coll QF as mentioned above and who can forget that 3rd qtr v Hawthorn at PP in 1983 when he had 15 kicks and got us back in front from a five goal deficit.

He made a comment about how he had to get better as a player below the knees because injuries robbed him of his leap. And he did.

Watson desperately needs to improve this skill. Perhaps one on one tuition from the dominator is in order. I also recall Diesel explaining how he improves this with players he has coached, including drug cheating version of jobe watson.

So, not so much love for former B&F winner Corey McKernan. :p

I thought Coreys program last night was one of the better OM's - very honest about the highs and lows - brilliant player at his best, like Kouta

Just stated that in the end they could not get the best out of each other. Did not pot Pagan and said he had a big influence on his life.
By the way Mark Maclure has sat down with Mike recently so that should be coming up soon.

Yeah, I thought Corey was good. We got him way past his prime and to be fair, he gave us everything he had. I'll never forget one game where he played just about the best quarter of footy I've ever seen (in the first quarter). Kicked 4 goals - one on the run from about 70 metres, one long banana from the Social Club boundary. He was good when on song and looked so, so bad when slightly off.

Anyway, I thought he gave pretty classy answers to some good questions (as usual) from Mike.

He gave nothing away about Pagan but clearly there is no relationship there anymore.
If we didnt get pagan i think he still would have played decent footy. He told the story about how he was struggling in thee early rounds but was a very hard trainer. Brittain put his arm around his shoulder and said "They (the fans) may burn down that grandstand, but I'm not going to drop you". It gave him the confidence to go on and win the B&F that year

Only game that my wife has come with me to was Corey's first good game for us, against Collingwood in the rain, not sure why she has never been back

He was of the same value to us as Mick Martyn.

I remember that goal...pretty sure it was the game against Melb after the passing of Vin Waite
