If Sayers cannot commit as prez, then piss him off the board - he was bought on as part of the succession plan - now that has just about fallen on deaf ears, off the board please!!!! And some others, too so our board can be no more than 7.
We will not get anywhere near the top 4 with Sticks as prez!! That extra year sets us back, in reality 2 to 3 years, as the new prez needs time to leave his leadership imprint on the club.
It will be a continuation of jobs for the boys program!!!

That highlighted sentence doesn't make sense. What do you mean by that?

If you count from now - say Sticks stays as Prez for 2014, reality is a new won't be in place until commencement of 2015 season and only after a period of time can a new prez leave their mark on a club - this takes us to around 2016-17 before we start seeing the benefits of a new prez at least!!!

This can be deep for some to understand

I worked at nab. When we moved to Docklands the mantra was 'open plan', no offices for anyone....until Ahmed arrived...an office was soon built.

Doc Sherrin thought Harold Mitchell would be a good fit as Carlton Prez. Looks like Harold now has some free time. Give him a ring Doc ?

That's pretty ordinary that after all the talk we can't get our shit together with the board.

Really disappointing for Kernahan to be sticking around for another year

FFS - Aren't their any passionate Carlton people who are smart and wealthy businessmen out there with Leadership ambitions to put their hand up for it???

@#$%&! off Luke Sayers - if you cannot do the Presidency - then no use for you on the board. Whoever convinced him to join the board and to take the Presidency should be made accountable for not carrying out due diligence!!!
