In regards to Walker think Kommer was trying to forward tag one of Sydney's backs (Malceski maybe), but didn't do much of a job. I also heard this morning that McVeigh played mainly off half back and he also got a heap of it.

Would like to see us put a lot of time into Zaharakis. Can tear a game apart if left unchecked.

Hibberd is having an excellent year, but thankfully will have to be more accountable due to the damage our small forwards can do.

Really this mob has been ordinary since Anzac Day. 2-3, which includes stumbling over the line against GWS, and losing to Brisbane at home. If we think we can go 2-2 in the next 4 this simply has to be one of them.

Even with taking into account who we've played recently I am looking forward to the next month with cautious optimism. We've been in every game this year, and have many guys in career best form. It's just a matter of it all clicking at once and what better time than this Friday night.

When things have clicked for us against them the last few years, we ve not only beaten this mob, but absolutely SMASHED them (4 ten goals + wins since 2010). Eddie and Jeffy G have usually run amok, so hopefully this is will again be the case on Friday.

On Friday, this is a statement game.

We ve flown under the radar so far this year (and that's the way I like it), but if we re to be taken seriously, we have to take a big scalp on the big stage.

Surrey If you think its gonna be tough for you to keep it together, spare a thought for me, I'm going to the game with an ex Essendon* player and his friends.

..the arguement that Knockers is a better ruck than Krooz in my mind doesn't add up.. ..for all his hitout dominance, there's no clear advantage in regards to center bounce stoppage clearances when Knockers is in the ruck over Krooz.. ..around the ground stoppages, and especially boundary throw-ins i think Krooz is a better tap ruck.. .... ..and as i've said before, IF Knockers is the better ruckman, and we know he offers so little after the tap.. ..and the overall number of stoppages in games is decreasing.. ..the need for a pure tap ruck specialist is also dropping.. ..and up fwd he is useless.. ..the bench dropping from 4 men to 3 has hurt Knockers in my opinion, new rules decreasing stoppages in game hurts him further....
