..very inexperienced line-up, and no real designated chop-out for the ruck either, unless you're gonna use Levi as chop-out, which then reduces us 1 KF,, unless knockers rests on bench and waite plays limited game-time [??]..
..not to have Krooz on the field is criminal..
Inexperienced line up? Don't agree. Some inexperienced kids, definitely, but they are supported by experienced players. You need that mix.
I believe MM will be trying to build our next premiership line up and will identify players such as Watson, Casboult, Bootsma as a key to that and the quicker they get experience the better.
I believe if fit Warnock will handle most of the ruck and he has excellent endurance. As always fitness will be the key. Based on what MM did at Collingwood I can see him using Casboult as the back up ruckman like he did with Brown. Stoppages are a key factor in the MM game plan as is the ability to play and extra midfielder. With our options of Waite, Henderson & Walker he will be able to create different forward match ups at any time.
As for Kruezer I dont rate him as highly as others. Good player, yes, but has limitations when it comes to being a first rate ruckman. Just my opinion. I really think we will be so much better with a dominate 206 around the ground.
We know what Judd, Murphy, Scotland, Carrots, Simpson can do. The key to a Grand Final push will be with Watson, Warnock, Gibbs, Henderson, Bootsma, Yarran, Robinson, Bell, Menzel, Casboult and can they take their games to a whole new level?
What excites me about this is the players left out. Cachia, Menzel, Hampson, Kruezer, Mitchell, Garlett, White, Duigan, Curnow, Armfield, Ellard, McCarthy, Buckley, AJ will also be right in the mix for round one.
