Here's a link to the fixtures (also in the TC header):
http://www.carltonfc.com.au/fixture/tab ... fault.aspx

And a run-down from the CFC website:
http://www.carltonfc.com.au/news/newsar ... fault.aspx

Doesn't look like we can have too many complaints.

Game on Mick!

Saturday nites on 7 with BT... :yikes:
Let's hope he gets the flick, or only stupid guest spots on Game Day.
I'd like to see Fox do a swap with Huddo for BT. Many more games on 7 than Fox.

It's a very boring draw for home game members, Rich R1 good then Adel, Melb, Port, GWS (how dull will those games be, GWS last year was the worst game I have ever been to) until we get to R12 Haw.....bloody Coll get the round 2 blockbuster as well.

Also a shocking draw for attendance revenue, overall home game attendances will drop for sure, we only have 3 chances for big crowds Rich, Ess, Coll, thats it...Haw and Saints at Etihad prevents big crowds.

Last year we had 9 games at Etihad, 8 games at the G, 2 in Perth, 2 in Bris/GC, 1 in Adelaide.

This year we've got 9 at Etihad, 8 at the G, 2 in Bris/GC, 1 in Sydney, 1 Perth, 1 in Adelaide.

Better for interstate fans this year.

I question how dull any game that we win could be.
Adelaide are a great side, I like seeing the young uns in GWS, Port will be interesting cos of K. Hinkley, Melb..always good for a laff, and..we could easily lose..who knows what either team will do.
Tigers....well, do I need to mention their club song, KB, Jumpin' Jack, Martin, Cotchin, hec where is there any room for bored in all of this??

Obviously it'd be nice to play Hawthorn at the MCG, along with all of our games. But we're better off playing Adelaide on a big ground than at Etihad.

I live in Perth, we had 2 games last year and get one game this year - how does that make it better for me?

We have done exceptionally well with the free to air games, the best by far out of any club in the AFL.
This will only be good for our sponsorship opportunities and should be pushed hard by the club.

Not a good year to be a Lions fan without Foxtel

The following are the number of free to air Channel 7 Games for each team (of a possible 21 games so far as R23 has not been allocated)

17 - Carlton
15 - Essendon*
15 - Geelong
13 - Collingwood
13 - Hawthorn
11 - Richmond
09 - St Kilda
09 - North Melbourne
08 - Melbourne
08 - Adelaide
08 - Sydney
07 - Western Bulldogs
07 - West Coast
07 - Fremantle
07 - GWS
06 - Gold Coast
04 - Brisbane
04 - Port Adelaide

He radiates no passion for this club. Never has. I always have the feeling he'd rather be off playing golf. Does he even like AFL?

Swanny will need to alter his MO to fit with MM.

From now on it's "whaaaa, whaaa, whaaa, sook, sook"

I don't want to hear any of this "it's a pretty good draw" nonsense.

It's stupid having two clubs as big as Carlton and Hawthorn playing at Etihad.

Port Adelaide twice is a bonus.

Interstate matches against West Coast and Sydney will be tough however Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Gold Coast are very winnable.

Last game of the year against Port. The last game @ AAMI before the shift to the Adelaide Oval - game will be built up over there. Let's hope we turn up this time, and we also have something to play for the floating round.

 KB this morning was down to around a hundred point win to them he thought 180 points was way ott.

Not a bad draw, hardly the dream draw that the HUN reported.
Looks like i can pencil in a trip to the Gold Coast late July, ( i am a glutton for punishment as i went this year)

It always worries me seeing our games kind of set out in blocks, ie. difficult run with Collingwood, Geelong, West Coast & Adelaide all in a row, then an easy run with Melbourne, St Kilda, Port Adelaide, Brisbane & GWS. Then again a tough run around the bye with Hawthorn, Sydney & Collingwood. Year after year we seem to vary in intensity from week to week, which leaves us prone to losses in those easy stretches and often sees us sneak a win in the tough stretch.

Ideally i'd prefer to see a more even spread, so that we're not likely to see 3-4 losses in a row at any stage, but are also unlikely to get ahead of ourselves after 2-3 easy wins. I guess really though, that comes down to the maturity and the mindset of the playing group (hopefully something that improves with Mick in charge).
