I hear you, but I think we don't need to "enjoy" if he struggles to secure a job. I am happy we made the change but I wish him all the best.

Yes you wont be enjoying his 500k he will get for doing nothing... .. and his 2 million plus from 5 years plus of doing bugger all.. and unemployable..

he will be enjoying all of that... while the club remains eons behind...of where it should be..

Youre right...!!!...

Maybe he can hand back his 500k????... its not like he really deserved it...and he loves the club........

Mrs Caz... i havent been posting much... the jackboots have been marching up and down the street

I dont see a Ratts thread anymore...

On the news tonight as you may have missed.. they said.. he wont be working for a year...... surely with leaving this club in a shitty state ... and he gets his 500k golden parachute courtesy of his mate sticks.. and leaving mm holding the baby.. this post is warranted.
FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND FOR SITTING ON HIS ASS!!!!... clubs money and all....
MM will have his work cut out..... we need to restructure the Ratten list to balance it out.. and teach them to play footy.

The lecture theatre will be one very used place according to the club...

why are you trying to kill off any conversation???

Its a forum.. and seeing the ratts thread is dead... ive married it beautifully into the mm thread....

but there you come... marching down TC determined to trample on anything in your way...

Give it a rest....!!!

Point missed again...you've posted the same thoughts ad nauseum since Ratts went, Nothing has changed...he get's his payout like any sacked employee.

If he chooses not to work, so be it. He's not our concern anymore.

The club has to work at making next year work now.

do you have a solution to the problem or are you just going to repeat yourself again?

Synners, I think the board and front office carry full responsibility for contracts that haven't produced the desired effects.

Ratts was just an employee who accepted the position offered to him.

The loss of time and money lies with the board/front office - and they deserve heavy scrutiny

Ratts is now irrelevant

Well Mrs Cazz... seeing noone has solutions on this site ... why not close it down???

Sacked employee???Not a carlton person anymore???... just an employee is he???

oh ok...

Thought he loved the club... a club he has been very well looked after for being totally average....and now cant get a job.. but he will accept his 500k.....

Which brings me to my second point.... which club in its right mind... can have a guy as coach for over 5 years.. and then get rid of him and pay him out for 500k while noone else will have him???

Which brings me to my third point....Mr Cazz...

We need to get MM in to fix this mess... but he will cost us 1 million ... and he MUST keep Rattens right hand man... $200/250k cos he has a contract....

Now if the club had the dough Mrs Cazz.. why would Mick have to keep Reilly around.... cos we cant pay him out too???

See how i tie all this in together.... but you are just trying to stunt debate and points...

Furthermore Mrs Cazz... how many members must by a membership.. to pay for 500k for Ratts... 250k for Reilly.. and a further million for MM.... plus im not sure what the status is of Richardson 250 kcos he doesnt see eye to eye with MM.

So thats around TWO million dollars Mrs Cazz.. the club must find... to pay for MM to come in and fix Ratts mess...

How am i not on the topic???

Or should i run things past you before i post????

Mrs Cazz... Ratts is not irrelevant cos we must FIND 500k to pay him.. when he used the Mantra ... " bringing back the Carlton swagger"

Of course he isnt irrelevant...he might not be Carltons coach... but he is a seagull around our necks... to the tune 2 million dollars.

Plus the trading and list restructuring ... and PLUS the re education.

Now do you jump on people bringing up Pagan???? .. he is irrelevant though people do.. and YES.. i have yet to see you put a stop to that.....!!!

Sacred cows???

I don't even know what stunt debating is... :?

I'm only asking if you want to keep on posting the same thing over and over...after making your point over and over...seems you do. But I should know from past experience.

Im not posting the same thing... earlier i was posting on mr average coach... now im posting on the human black hole for our finances.

he is still relavant......

of course u dont know what stunt debating is... youre involved in it right now.

What is the point of your interference in this thread??
Im on the topic... and this is a new angle on Ratten.. and MMs 3 year contract... for me...

The coach that brought back the Carlton swagger... keeps his extra 500k for being unable to get new employment...

pretty costly.... lots and lots of memberships worth......to change coach to mm and his 3 years contract.. thats 3 million...

Not his fault that he was offered that deal nor was it his decision to leave.

MRs Cazz you might think im a smart ass... but like in any football game.. the best games are the ones you dont notice the umpires.. and they have consitency..the games might he hard and tough but everyones still friends...

What the mods here have been doing are being overly zealous with the whistle.

we all appreciate its a hard job.... but sheeesh... what you just did.. says it all...

You just jumped in cos you wanted to.

sometimes you guys need to take a deep breath and a step back... cos youre asking us to.

but just cos you have a badge doesnt mean you can do what you like...

Its all the posters who make the site what it is.... you cant just keep interfering....cos ultimately youll be left with nothing to moderate.

And for your info i have posted bugger all for a week or so......

Cos nothing much to post... but i have taken great interest in watching you guys just acting weird.

You were just another example of it just then....

No I didn't...I expressed an opinion that you were just repeating yourself...it was actually from a personal standpoint not as a mod, although others have expressed that opinion to the mods recently.

You may not have posted over the the last week, but your post sure sounded the same ol' same ol'.

Now I'll put my mod's hat on...

if you want to complain about the moderating there is a forum to do that. Please feel free.
Everyone, as per the rules of the site, please restrict opinions on moderating to the appropriate forum. Any future posts will probably be moved over there.

And no...I don't think you're a smart ass.

The horse aint dead.. it made the news tonight.

They said he is not in footy next year.

That means..... he gets to keep 500k of our dosh........

If he could get a job in footy next year..... even as a suburban coach... we pay the balance.....

That leaves a bitter taste in my mouth........

Its still a CURRENT football story.. was in the media this evening...and still concerns our coaches.
PS
Is 'trigger' Ratten???
