I really dont know Wiley from a bar of soap, apart from memories of him as a yappy and annoying player. But we don't really need anyone who has "softened" do we KK? We've had a bumbling nice guy coach for 5 years and a few gentle nice guy assistants. We've now got a ruthless and egotistical smart senior coach who will no doubt surround himself with smart and ruthless assistants.

At this pivotal point in our club's journey we need hardness. Our physical, mental and structural softness has been obvious this year.

Time for Viagra.

Why I'm coaching again: Malthouse

The simple fact is that I’ve got a burning desire to see the teams I coach succeed. It comes with a simple philosophy: I don’t want to be the best coach, but I want to be the coach of the best side.

I got everything before
Talking Big Penis.
Do you think Malty will be happy if we give all credit to the team when we win then?
and of course, all to him when we lose? (the Carlton way)

If you're on the Carlton list, you'd have to be excited reading that.

If I lined up four readers and said there is a main road out the front and you have to cross it, but only three will get across, not many people would go because they fear it. And they should fear it.

K2 is the second-highest mountain in the world, but the most difficult to climb. For every four climbers who have reached the summit, one has died trying.

If you lined up all of the AFL’s coaches and players and asked who wanted to go, all of them would because it’s the challenge.

What a load of shit. Some AFL players and coaches think they are God like because they're involoved in football.
Wanting to achieve and face challenges is part of your character. Whether you have the extra ability and physical composition to chase a piece of leather is irrelevant.
I know people who have faced terminal illnesses or others who have come back from severe physical injuries who have more character than half the AFL players or coaches.
What a @#$%&! wank.

I'm trying hard to be positive but @#$%&! nonsense like this is making it very difficult.

We knew we were getting an egomaniac, and this thinking confirms that MM feels that he and his brethren are superior beings. What a load of crap, exactly!

With an ego like the he won't have feelings of self doubt in crunch situations. And let's hope he can instill that sense of absolute confidence, self belief and superiority in our players.

Not without risk of course, but probably the right man at the right time with the right group.

Listening to MM this week has got me wanting to run through a brick wall for him... if he gets half the list feeling the same, we may do something next year.

He came out and said that our good is the best in the comp but Our bad is woeful and he is going to try and stop the lows but keep the highs

I wonder if he knows what the cause is for that and if he does what he will do about it

It will be interesting
