SB claims that Fahour can't get on the board because of his religion. That in itself is inflammatory and should not be let slide. Prove it or withdraw it.

I'm going to spell out SB's point for him. He can refute my interpretation it if he wants.

Two preliminary points to help track down the target:

- The club has had 2 Jewish presidents in the recent past, so the club isn't run by a bunch of white supremacists. Terrific.

- By all accounts Fahour is a moderate Muslim who doesn't have four wives or endorse suicide bombers. He has a fine reputation as a businessman and Australian. Let's say for the sake of the argument that he would make a great asset to CFC's board.

So Ahmed's cool, and the club isn't the Klan. How to justify SB's contention?

Maybe there's an influential ethnic group at the club that has a history with Arabs....

First of all I don't know Fahour or any of the board members from a bar of soap never met them don't know what they do in their private lives who they mix with - nothing much about them at all

What I do know is that according to some posters on here Fahour approached the club to join the board and was turned away
What I also do know is that there is quite a heavy Jewish influence on the Board at the moment
What I also know is that Fahour was born in Syria and from that I assumed he therefore might be a Muslim

Now unless you have been sleeping under a rock for the best part of 4000 years you also know that Muslims and Jews don't really like one another that much
