What a night !

Started off men down and lost 3 more. If anyone says injuries are not an excuse after this they have rocks in their heads.

club you are drinking from God knows what again. Injuries has cost us the game have they? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It's a less weak excuse than blaming the coaching staff. We are being beaten by a better team given available personnel. It does happen.

Norfs height was always gonna kill us. Bower and Thornton in the 2s ? Flowering joke. Last week was too much of an effort for this mob, and it obviously drained all their energy away. Norf on the 6 day break too :yikes:

And I HATE this ground - thanks Collo

And finally, not paying a free to AJ was the worst non decision I've ever seen in my life - seriously.

Welcome aboard Mick. It won't be easy but we'll be patient

Injuries and Umpires have contributed

Bad coaching has contributed

Mostly though lots of the players just aren't good enough under pressure.

that's coaching (just not match-day coaching)

Why cant people on here accept that injuries do play a part in such a loss?? I have never seen anyone claim they are the total reason, but please people accept they play a part. Carlton are decimated atm. As soon as anyone mentions injuries it is assumed they are using it as an excuse. Not at all they are pointing out a FACT............

There are many other reasons for such a performance, the coach, the crap forward structure (injuries haven't helped here), selections, crap umpiring, players like Garlett being carried for most of the season, the list goes on......

I don't think anyone's suggesting there aren't injuries involved but that has absolutely nothing to do with the stunned mullet sitting in the coaches box.

Has anyone actually seen him move his lips tonight?

And he's off concussed. I think the mrc will still look at it, even tough the umpire didn't even pay a free.

Judd our best. The only one who has earned his money tonight. Everyone else should just chip in their pay to pay the umpire bashing fine!!

With respect keogh,
That is completely unneccessary.

Not really. Cazz was pretty strong in his opinion. Misjudged what football means to people.
Rubbish. It was weak and petty. Especially coming from someone who only turns up when we're losing. He's not the only one though. A few posters are reappearing now that shit's hit the fan.

We will not improve as a team until we learn to go through seasons with minimal to no injuries....get more frees from the umps and learn how to kick straighter for goal....

Moving Henderson to full back and then leaving him there when we have no key forward is one of the stupidest things I have seen, I've finally lost faith in Ratten as coach.

I feel ill. I can't believe what has happened to this season. It promised so much and has delivered so little. And it gets worse. There are still weeks to go.
