Thornton and Lucas to solve our problems...FMD.

One wouldn't know what forward-defensive pressure is and in the other's case, we have outside mids well and truly covered...particularly with shit disposal, decision making and thirst for the contest.

Thornton's a depth player...like if you're diving The Titanic. Lucas will demand to be traded - a combination of shit development and an over-inflated belief of his importance to a team.

It's amazing the amount shit Armfield cops from week to week on this site...

Nah, there's too much going on so he's been brushed under the carpet. He'll pop up again after he's gassed two players and doesn't manage to hit a stationary forward lace-out from 40m at full tilt.

Sad but true - what a terrible terrible waste.

He never misses on his left.

Got his limitations but at least he doesn't run away from a fight.

Lucas needs to be getting 30 plus disposals for the Northern Blues before he is considered.

Might as well trade him now.

Sorry to see Collins dumped and what's with the three ruckmen? But the Hawks aren't that good. They have no midfield pace, no rucks and no backline. Rioli and Franklin can play a bit, and Mitchell is a ball magnet, but if we lose this one there are no excuses. The Hawks have lots of ordinary players.

No Excuses, no injury whinges, no rolling out all the stats we led on unless it is the scoreboard.

Are you being positive or putting pressure on Ratten to prepare for the post-match thread?

Reasons aren't excuses.

The Hawks have never had a ruck and any midfield pace in the eight wins in a row against Carlton. They will be quicker if they smash us at stoppages with Hale, Mitchell, Sewell, Lewis and Shiels. Burgoyne, Whitecross, Young, Smith and Rioli can hurt us if they get in space.

Carlton to play Young into form and turn back the clock to the 2008 GF. :|

Franklin to run 20 metres without having a bounce again.

Warnock will appreciate only having one ruck to deal with, yet Hale did ragdoll our rucks last year. Hope Kreuzer is right to go.

I hope we can lock down on Guerra, Birchall, Gibson, Stratton and Suckling. Otherwise, it will be left foot pass after left foot pass hitting up the next player in the chain. Oh, how I hate how they always do this to us.

But he's quicker than Lewis Jetta over 20 metres...

It's a shame it's not an egg and spoon race.

MORE TIME IN THE 2's FFS!

This clube is F%^$#d

Sums up Ratts' man management to a tee. Plays his best game against the Cats, bozo then makes him a sub and now drops him. FFS Ratts, sack yourself.

The single biggest disappointment for me is Yarran, how the flower does he survive?
If you've had a crap month or more then go to the 2's for a run and give ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, wtf is he selected for?
These players could chop their legs off and still know beyond any doubt they will be selected. Yarran did not want to be out in the cold windy weather last weekend so DROP HIM
NO SPINE FFS!
Garlett should be out for CollinsAj i can understand why they've kept
Yaz should be playing in the NB 2's given his half a$$ed attitude lately

+1
Regardless of what happens tomorrow night, (and I hope Garlett kicks a dozen), based on form over a long period of
time Collins deserves the opportunity to show what he can do. This sort of thing can seriously damage a players
morale and confidence.

Go to training and call him Bozo to his face. Doing it online sounds a little lame.

Scratching my head about Collins.

If Yarran starts as sub again I'll....spew up.

Need to run a book on what time of the game it will first be mentioned. It's almost a lock that it will be Queenie who brings it up, but I reckon it will be about 7 minutes into the first quarter.

If it goes on recent form they won't be mentioning it for anything Jeffy has done.
