doesn't really say what the injury is

Or what type of 'knee' surgery he's having...

I'm sure this is no way the fault of anyone at the club, and we should just accept injuries as just something that happens.

Except if we have a look at our handling of injured playersd OVERALL over the last two seasons... we see a pattern

Nah, I've decided that there's nothing anyone at the club can do to prevent these things from happening, these things just happen. After all, if there was, you'd expect that fitness personnel would be questioned and/or supporters would be given some transparency about what's really going on. Considering none of this seems to take place, everything is okey-day!

TC's medical experts have spoken after they gave Laidler an extra week and he's trained for the last month.

Donstuie: How long for a dislocated knee cap?
Jimmae: Four to eight weeks
Synbad: Tell him he's dreaming!

It's just one human centipede of agendas that some willingly swallow.

In this case, everyone's jumping at shadows to ask questions that probably don't need answering.

Andy McKay would lie.

I know my 41kg daughter is not an AFL footballer but she popped her knee cap playing netball
After i knocked it back she went through about 2-3 months of exercising it to strengthen it only first game back she popped it again- She then had full op and was out for 6-8 months - she decided she wasn't going to risk playing netball again but was knocked over at a party and popped it again - Doctor said it could happen all her life. She is 4ft 11 and is reluctant to wear high heals incase she goes over on it again

I remember Darryn Cresswell popping his knee at geelong and played out the game

Maybe it is one of things that will never be right

I mentioned just before the Eagles game that Laidler was fairly close to selection that week.

Without knowing a lot about how much input the surgeon responsible would have into it, I wonder who was responsible for the club vetoing the selection. I doubt it was the coaching staff, and wonder if Jeremy himself said he wasn't ready yet..
