How come when we beat Collingwood the media and supporters went crazy about how many injured players Collingwood had ... and thats why we beat them ... Yet when we are hit seriously with injuries ... its all the coaches fault ... amazing.

Anyway ... I don't think there is anyway we can beat the Hawks unless it rains. They just match up too well against us. I still believe the Dawks will win the flag.

Because when we started losing our injuries were not that bad. Collingwood covered their injuries with young players

Ball, Beams, Cloke, Pendlebury, Ried, Shaw, Sidebottom, Swan and Thomas all played against us and they're all probably in their top 10. Dawes, Goldsack, Jolly, Maxwell, O'brien, Toovey and Wellingham also played, so who exactly was missing from their team in round 3 that was so good?

Ball and Reid both went off injured in the 2nd qtr - after a slow start they were never going to catch us after losing 2 key players.

i dont want Hawthorn to have a loose man in defence.

every year we allow them to get away with this tactic and it helps them dictate the game.. Dont know why every team has success with the loose man, bar us... It just doesnt work for us..

True, last year he was the thorn in our side in the first half.

Part of the second half comeback was due to Jamison going forward. Whilst he only kicked 1 himself he at least looked dangerous, and more importantly made Gibson accountable.

Whoever we decide to be our key forward for this game will need to do the same. :sad:

Last week Hawthorn thrashed Brisbane, yesterday Brisbane thrashed Western Bulldogs, last week Western Bulldogs thrashed Port and two weeks before that Port thrashed us.

I therefore expect us to lose by 284 points, or win easily.
