Outs - Garlett, AJ

Ins - Bootsma (AJ), Lucas (Garlett)

Rotate Collins/Lucas through half forward/midfield. I reckon Boots would have played @ Subi but for the 6 day turnaround. This lad is a gem and needs to be looked after. He won't be taking a backward step against this lot, that's for sure.

Dawks rucks nothing special, in no hurry to bring back Hammer. Cut some slack to Warnock, could have still been carrying that injury from the Cats game only 6 days before. The rest will help him immensely.

If Yarran is still dodgy, don't play him, especially if Laids can get a NB game into his body next weekend. Unlike Carrots who could run during his break, struggling to see how Laids could play without the benefit of a NB game. Would love to be wrong, he's our best defender.

Quietly confident we can win this game, especially as its at the G and not Shitihad which suits the Dawks game style so much.

So are you confident or not?
Why say quietly confident????

Its abit like one of Rattens lines in the sand from a couple of years ago....

"Its kind of a line in the sand"
thats the problem with this club... no conviction!!!!

This is me being confident ok????
Im confident we wont win!!!!

And you?????

Give Garletts job to Collins - see how he goes.

Work out Hawthorn's best midfielder and tell Judd to tag him out of it. If he can force a
nill-all draw we'll be a head of where we've been with Judd lately -- and if nothing else it'll throw
some confusion their way.

If Watson can have a good one against the Hawks it'll be a huge feather in his cap given then opposition.

They wouldn't stick him on Buddy.

It would be Hendo or Jammo surely.

I factored Roughead into the "opposition" equation too. I agree, no way I'd put him on Buddy right now. Roughhead is a more suitable match-up for him.

If Carlton can have a good one against the Hawks it'll be a huge feather in our cap given the opposition.

Jesus christ, not allowed to say 'quietly confident' without copping it on here.

Who would have thought that expression would be looked at so closely.

Pretty sure there is a feather in a cap somewhere here:

everything is to be examined.

Were studying the psychology of a club thats going down the tube.

From top to bottom......

StKilda supporters used to get excited when Plugger kicked a bag...or when they beat a team....

Sometimes they used to say "Im quietly confident this week" on the back of a 5 game losing streak.

Im fascinated by the psyche of a club in the shitter....

So now i study our club and its supporters.

We get our cheapies now when Sticks tells McGuire to "mind your own business that was uncalled for Eddie" or when juddy wins a brownlow...
Or if we beat Collingwood once...

Sometimes battling losses over West....

But nothing beats the euphoria of the number 1 picks 5 and 6 and 7 years ago.... or the coup to give 3 top 20 picks up for Juddy...!!!

This year we will be interested in who were gunna get.... will he be a big fish???....if its not a huge fish... a medum one would suffice...

Bit worried again for 2013 but there is hope.....!!!... one name player... can help us turn this club around....

Analyse the club to your hearts content but don't over analyse what a poster thinks.

Quietly confident or noisily pessimistic - to each his own.
