Play a quarter and a bit refers to Yarran coming on and doing that, not the team doing that and then bringing Yarran on....

Again, in normal circumstances, where the list is fully fit, Yarran would never be the sub. EVER! But when the bullants have a bye, and he is not 100% fit, it makes sense....

am I the only one that sees this?

Prof I see where you are coming from and agree 100%, I was thinking the same thing before the game.

congrats watson, collins and bootsma playing good footy.
sorry to hampson and joseph playing very average footy.
my team, imo,

duigan jamison touhy
yarran watson gibbs
simpson mclean bootsma
robinson kreuzer gartlett
betts henderson walker
warnock ellard judd
lucas collins armfield dale[sub]

out's, hampson and joseph
in's, lucas and dale
my reasons are,
hampson needs a spell and find some form,
joseph has had he's chances,
lucas to play at he's old ground and hopefully find he's touch
dale has been promoted to the seniors list so give him a go
can't wait for mitchell to start playing seniors, will give us a good option
just my opinion

They need to sort the VFL comp out quickly, teams having all these byes is not good for the senior sides, it is making very difficult to manage players, bring back a proper ressies comp.

Weather forecast over here is wet and filthy all week so even if it's not raining the chances are it will be a slippery wet/damp ground.

Might give AJ a reprieve.

BC Subi is a pretty hard surface, it concerns me that if his toe isn't right there is a risk of doing further damage and we need another long term injury like we need a second asshole.

Patterson along with Etihad are the two fastest tracks in the AFL.

Garlett will stay in the team.

That has more to do with conditions than ground. It is usually pretty dry and sunny in Perth, even in winter. Subi like most of Perth is built on sand. Sand isn't a hard surface. Good drainage, that's why even when its wet its not a mudheap.

I'm thinking no one will ever take Carrots for granted again.

('cept maybe his triplets. )

Good luck to Carrots if he's back. Extra runner never hurts, looking forward to see if it changes our midfield dynamics much.

Hope to see 1AW and Hendo holding down the forward line, with Hampson more of a cameo player than a key forward.

This game has Gibbs written all over it for some reason. Reckon he'll carve this week.

You might think I'm mad,

I take it you are thinking Warnock is injured. Otherwise that's not a great idea.

Yes, assuming Warnock doesn't get up from the hip complaint.
