I have no problem with Monday night football. The worst timeslot is any day game at Etihad where you run the risk of having the roof open

I caved and got tickets, if you're an AFL member you have to do the 'level 3' trick to get tickets.

You should know what I mean.

Let's forget it's Carlton.

What would everyone say about a regular Mon night game which is purely for TV viewing?
I still don't think it'd be right. Footy round ends Sun night for me. Mon is for review.

I'm going to be angry at myself for going.

I dislike Monday night footy immensely.

You could excuse it if the day was a public holiday, otherwise...

GET RID OF IT!!!

It's a failed experiment that the AFL just can't seem to let go of.

Do not want.

They need to be able to spread out the coverage to try and maximise the audience. It makes sense, and I prefer it to Thursday night.

I would go and watch the blues any night of the week. I guess I am a bigger and better supporter than some :smoking:

that's not the question, the question is whether Monday night is good or not, very poor night for familes to either go to the footy or even watch from home

So hard for people who live in more regional areas to get to the game, I live about an hour out of Melbourne and I'll probably go as I have flexible work hours but considering I'd get home 11:30 - midnight it makes it so hard for others who live as far as I do or further to go to the game.

Basically Monday nights are on par with Sunday twilight's, both shithouse times to play

Would be filthy if this was a home game - having to waste one of the precious few by not going.

Awesome way to end the round and start a work week. Plus I can go down to the back TV and retreat to my little world away from The Block, The Voice, and Masterchef.

Thank you AFL.

The only drawback is the limited scope to get totally wasted after the win.

Prefer Thursday night but if Carlton played 7 days a week, I wouldn't complain. It will be a long wait though.
