Didn't listen to his views but the summary sounds promising from the list manager. I recall at the end of the 2010 season when reviewing all clubs he didn't know where to rate the Blues as he thought we were either topping up too much and didnt recruit very well. So he thought we might go backwards in 2011. Does anyone else remember that?

Wasn't it him who also said - I think last year - that we were too old??

It's worth a listen. Nothing overly insightful but if you're starved for news, it's nice to hear another perspective. It's fairly balanced assessment actually.

Why quote an article that is one year old? Have we all the same opinions that we had over a year ago about football or life in general? The interview with Terry Wallace was very positive with the obvious questions.

Mids/flankers rate with any in the competition

Gibbs looks like he will have a break out ala Marc Murphy last year

He questioned resting ruckmen as key forwards as there is no recent precedent for this being effective

He questioned whether Jamison was able to play the whole year meaning that our second tall (Henderson being the other one) had to be Bower or Watson.

He wanted to see the rest of the pre season progress as last weekend had so many players in and out yet he saw a list that was a top four one.

To knock him via a media epithet of "The List Manager" is ridiculous. His knowledge of the lists of all 18 clubs is pre-eminent compared to other media people.

Just my opinion I suppose

Isnt the quoted article just in response to a question that specifically asked about it?

Cheers GWS. I opined as I listened to the audio.

I then posted my summary. Are you just another keyboard cowboy or do you actually opine?

Don't mind Wallace. Was an innovative coach and got the Dogs to the finals 4 times in a row the only time it's history, including two PF's. Bar some late Darren Jarman magic could well have been a premiership coach. Always interesting to listen to. As for his time at Richmond, well, every one fails at Richmond even top coaches. Coach there and it's a career graveyard. i never judge coaches there. The tail wags the dog.
