We are brave, but we will lose

Unless Ratts changes things up, if he pulls a rabbit out of the hat here, I will hail him as a top coach, otherwise, just a guy getting par results.

The umpiring in that quarter was horrendous.

Lads having a real dip - couple of crucial kicking errors and they can't miss.
Hope T-Bird is ok. If he is out we are in so much trouble. Love the big Setant but he has no class and while he is in the team we will struggle.
Come on lads do us proud in the second half and win the game!

What are some of the changes you'd like to see him make?

I just said that.

Absolutely disgraceful.

Cannot believe the run they got that qtr. Most of their goals were from soft frees or non-decisions.

Tbird looks gone :(

It was disgraceful. That is why you must get first hands on the footy interstate. We didn't.

I can't remember the last time I was so infuriated by a quarter of footy. Probably that Essendon* game a few years ago where Eddie was pinged for 'tunnelling' because Fletcher jumped on his head.

if it had been a friggin eagle he would have - we are gonna get smashed by the red maggots.

plenty of other coaches have complained about the home-ground umpiring and we are seeing it first f*****ing hand from that f*****er razor.

am so angry

Clearly, along with drug use and steroid abuse, rape is legal in WA. Whoever umpire 8 is, is best afield by a mile

Disagree - we let ourselves down. Nothing to do with the umpiring. We had a chances and didn't take them.

We need to run the ball more, instead of bombing a long kick every single time. More often then not, Eagles will mark it, or if they don't they win the ball after the contest...

Yep, poor coaching from Ratts to not tell Army to take that ball with him too from Kennedy's kick.

Come on Ratts, how can you not tell our players to touch the ball?

:garthp: :garthp: :garthp:

Huh?

Kennedy plays forward. I'm talking about our forward entries, if you hadn't noticed the Eagles took mark after mark that quarter, as our structures fell over and plan B played into the Eagles hands.

We didn't play well, and let them dictate the play.

But yes, the umpiring still has plenty to do with it.
