Good on him. Cant remember the last time, other than radio, that Sticks has done any media.
Wallsy and Sticks together, should be good.

Clinton Brown: New General Manager, Consumer Business and Digital Marketing
Quote:
Hawthorn Football Club has regretfully accepted the resignation of Clinton Bown, General Manager Communications and Advanced Media.

Bown leaves the Hawks after four years to take on the newly created role of General Manager Consumer Business and Digital Marketing with Carlton Football Club.

Hawthorn CEO Stuart Fox paid credit to Bown's achievements at the Hawks and wished him well.

"Clinton has been an integral part of our executive management team and has made an outstanding contribution to our club, particularly in the area of new media," said Fox.

"He leaves for a great professional opportunity and we wish him all the best."

Given how well the Hawks have marketed themselves the past couple of years (and that Jeanne would probably need impressing), I can only assume this guy knows what he's doing. Welcome aboard Clinton

Nice pickup Don, the club has definitely been more proactive in marketing itself this year. They might still have a way to go, but at least an effort is being made.

Although a tad ironic that we had to read about it through Hawthorn's bloody website :sly:

Credit where credit is due, fantastic initiative from the club. Little things like that go a long way to ensuring members remain happy.

Not bitter I didn't get an invite, but when you conduct an exercise which ends up on the website, you should probably edit it...for the sake of the club and the blogger themselves. Describing Kouta as a new recruit in 2000 a little embarrassing. For the record, I thought it was a good exercise...not convinced it was utilized in the right manner, but hope it's repeated. Can never have too many people sharing their thoughts on Carlton, right?

I'm less bitter I didn't get an invite. On a scale of bitterness, if 0 represents NOT BITTER and 100 represents VERY BITTER, just call me Robbie Warnock.....

BTW, I wonder if Alice Laidlaw is related to Jeremy.....
