To classify Mzungu as a tagger is wrong. He didn't tag anyone. He was unaccountable and Dal Santo also paid him no attention because Nicky D was given free range to smash 25 disposals down the throat of his forwards plus two goals.

Mzungu is a good mature age player though and has a bit of excitement about him, but Judd or Murphy should relish the chance of having him as a "tagger", because it is not what he does.

Run an AJ with him and then see how many touches Tendai gets, Robinson on Barlow and let Judd or Murphy go head to head with Lower.

Henderson or Gibbs on Pavlich?

McPhee is a disgrace. The successor to Chad Cornes.

Aaron Sandilands is "medically" due back this week but you'd think Mundy will miss with his ankle.

Hope Robbie steps on his feet to "medically" test them a few times.

One thing I have noticed about Duigan actually is he starts a little slow in matches but gets better as the game goes on.

Yes I have definitely noticed that.

(I wonder if the club has) :donk:

I think the one weakness in Duigan's game is his ball handling below his knees. A few times he's over-run it, not taken clean possession or taken too long and caused a turnover. Something I hope he works at over the pre-season.

Ins.. Carazzo, setanta

Outs. hoops , Kruezer

kreuzer needs a rest , he's good around the stoppages but offers nothing in forward line. setanta will at least take some marks when he's down there

I can't see K getting dropped - he'll get a rest in the Bye week.

Perth is going to be beautiful, sunny and warm on Saturday. Perfect for the big men to fly on the open spaces of Patersons Stadium. Krooz to play.

I don't see how suggesting to rest Duigan & Ellard equates to giving them the arse. Given Curnow & Russell are having injury problems and associated lack of form to go with, I'd rather have our current pairing in the team if they were fit and firing. Last week was an excellent opportunity to give them a rest, and we skipped over it.

Funnily enough we won easily, despite being defensively lacklustre everywhere except inside our own 50, where Ellard snuck forward for a few cheap sausage rolls. Coincidence?

Good on Ellard for resting his legs up forward to battle home to 80% TOG on Saturday, while Scotland & Simpson ran in 90% & 89% TOG in midfield respectively. Of course that's not really up to Ellard, is it.

I think he can work on his hamstring flexibility right now, if he so wishes.

no we want them to select him - then run out first ruck contest and stub his big toe again

Leave them one man down

We think Sandilands will be itching to get back after Cox has apparently gone past him as the greatest ruckman in history on the back of 6 pretty impressive weeks.

Even if he does play this week, Sandilandd would be pretty underdone you would reckon, as he's missed most of the 2nd half of the year...

McPhee will accept the ban you'd think as he's lucky to only cop a week for that elbow....

This mob did us twice last year by 8 pts and 6 pts, and arent playing anywhere near as well now as they were then. On the other hand, we ve improved massivly since those two losses, and are pretty good interstate, so think we should have their measure this time round...

Leg speed is critical at this ground, this should be at the forefront of all selectors minds when picking the team for this week.

I have to disagree, in the sense that it's more important that players can maintain their run through 4 quarters more than any other ground. We have a decent amount of leg speed, but do we have the fitness to close down and run onto the extra space?

That's cool.

I reckon Brock could run out a game just as good and probably better than Dennis Armfield at the moment but for this ground Armfield is a must if his ankle is ok. Brock should be staying home for this game. Freemantle had 23 "fit" blokes to pick from last week and you are questioning our fitness.
