We just are not taking our chances at goal or in general play. The team is still mentally weak compared to the top sides, until we can gain mental toughness we will not make the next step.

Waiting for the floodgates to open second half. Our pressure has been reasonably good and our undermanned backline doing better than expected but our forward line is disfunctional. Walks is having a shocker and Jeffy hardly seen the ball. You know somethings drastically wrong when they start looking for Betts as our main marking target.

However, biggest problem is the lack of run and the disgraceful disposal. Simple handballs, kicks & marks.

I think we're doing well to be hanging in there. Just frustrating that we're shooting ourselves in the foot by not getting the basics right.

Collingwood players seem to react quicker to opportunities and have half a yard on us most of the time. They sense an opening and they take it immediately.

We're missing targets that are wide open, fumbling when under no pressure and then not capitalising on our scoring shots.

Having said that, we're working hard and we're right in the game.

Judd is working his arse off, needs to execute better. Murphy is very effective when he's involved. Scotland and Simmo are both giving their all.

Warnock is beating Jolly which is helping.

One thing that really annoyed me was in the first quarter when Robbo had the ball 60m out. Not looking to plan on at all, he just absent mindedly walked off his mark and was called to play on so he had to throw the ball on the boot and kicked it to Eddie Betts in the goal square, who was one out against Jolly and Reid. Just a ridiculously careless waste of possession.

How can you accidentally play on? Just stand still!
