How vital is Waite? Having a big mobile marking target up forward this week contrasts completely with having no marking target at all against WC. Waite vs Henderson at CHF, obviously no contest. Henderson is forced to work harder down back, and this looks like it could work.

Tough call on Hendo. He played against a backline featuring gun defenders. Waite played against rubbish with the midfield totally dominating.
Henderson looks good down back at the moment but I wouldn't give up on him as a forward. The kid is still only 21.

We're in a great position if Hendo can mature and develop down back for a couple of years.

Jamo and Hendo down back gives plenty of time for Watto and McCarthy to mature and develop their games in the 2s.
Down the track, when Waiteys ready to hang up the boots, a more mature Hendo can return to the forward line (just like Waitey has done) and form a combination hopefully with a developed Mitchell.

Hendo's got a very bright future IMO.

Hendo down back is a fantastic bit of schooling untill he and others are ready for their respective positions. He should play on the best forwards while there.

I doubt Henderson will be as good in the air as Waite.

A lot of people doubted JK's marking abilities a few years ago too, IIRC.
