And you're both still alive?

You mean it wasn't a fascist neocon versus pinko commie deathmatch?

You have to marvel at the ability of footy to unite.

We are the ultimate confidence team.
The best part about tonights win was everyone contributed.
Also playing Ohailpin was smart by the MC.
He had an impact

How was the coaches performance?

How so?

1995 was the first season with 16 teams and saw the end of the bye and match ratio that had been in place since 1991 when the Adelaide Crows entered the comp.

Murphy has his arm in a sling, I do remember a point in the game where he hurt it.

It was post tackle you can see him get up shaking his arm.

was during the 2nd qtr - seem to shrug it off and play on with too many problems.

hopefully just a precaution. 10 days before next game in any case..

Hopefully now the boys believe in themselves and each other, come out and do a number on StKilda, take a break and then go for broke towards top4 & finals.
Yep defining game for this group of players ... we're coming!

I would have thought Port are the ultimate confidence team, beat Adelaide one week, lose to GC the next. Carlton are starting to show a lot more consistency in their football. Sorry but I don't agree with you on that one.

There's plenty of belief within and amongst this group.
I'm taking players and coaches.
The never say die attitude is alive and well on every line.
Sure we are short and perhaps too small at CHF and CHB, but we make up for that with wins with their endeavour.
I will not be surprised if we go all the way in 2011.

Only a few negatives, but otherwise really happy with the effort overall.
Waite in particular, and Joseph as well gave away silly clumsy free kicks in the first half, basically handing the ball back to the Swans.
There's no doubt we need bigger bodies at CHF and CHB to complete the puzzle.
Loved what Diesel had to say about Ratten.

For those who missed it, he suggested that some Carlton supporters and plenty of journos should get off Ratten's back and show him the respect he deserves. The team is heading in the right direction. It's young and developing. Ratten took over the weakest Carlton team in history to take them to finals and this year we should improve again. Diesel says that Ratten is a good coach.

Kernahan at the SOC function before the game said something similar to Diesel.
Good to see blokes in the know giving us the real story.
Well done Ratts.

I didn't come across any CFC supporters abusing their players. That was heartening.
Well deserved win against all the odds. I'm ecstatic. Had such a great night.
Great to see Sydney painted Dark Navy Blue.

A great team effort.

Yeah we've really got to back it up against StKilda. A team that isn't in the best form and a game we'll probably go in as favourites. Also good that we'll be coming off a 9 day break considering it was such a slog out there last night.

Diving on the boundary with arms above his shoulders, think that was just before the Judd centered kick to White.

No sign of the sister just a couple other Irish boys who spent all night arguing with each other
very hard to understand what they were saying as they speak at a millions miles an hour

they were good fun

The great man has only two at the moment. Although on his eeforts this year four is not out of the question.

It was a joke Mark...

As for Sydney's disbelief that an interchange steward could make a mistake...

Why did they have 5 on the bench in the first place?

If anyone [REDACTED] up it was Sydney's bench. Why would you leave yourself one short on the ground unless you didn't intend to?

Jammo is playing like Bower was when he was on fire.
Ipso facto...(hopefully)...when Bower comes back, we'll have twin jets firing out of the back half, and streaming forward.
