I am excited to say I am travelling up to Brisvegas for the game this Saturday.

Are any other TCers going up and if so, will any of you be catching up before or after the game?

Yep my wife, myself and my 3 month old daughter (for her first footy game - so excited!!) will be travelling up there and going to the game. Also looking for a spot to have a couple of arm stretches before the game. About 10 yrs since I have been to the Gabba, isn't there a pub called the pineapple something near the ground?

PS My daughter is a baby blue. One of the proudest days of my life!!

Mate, you are a braver man than me, I have told my 5 yo that she isnt coming to the footy with me until she can watch a whole game on the couch at home first. I'm not going to take her and then she wants to go home at half-time.

Or is that why the 'cheese & kisses' is coming, she looks after the baby whilst you head off to the footy???

I am going and getting excited. Flying up Saturday morning and returning Sunday night. We must have a secret signal so we know who are TCer's.
Forecast for Saturday is sunny and 29 degrees.

I will be heading up for the game as well. I was just wondering if there was a pub people will be meeting at for a drink before the game.

Luckily the 3 month old is pretty chilled out, so she will either just look around and take it all in, or sleep through it. If not, the PC me will say that "we" will take her back to the hotel

I'll be there along with my son & nephew.
We fly up saturday morning, then back sunday.
The Spirit of Carlton pre-game function looked like a good deal with ground entry and transportation to the ground included, so we've hooked into that as well.
We're very excited ......
