Mickstar too right, she wants to know where her hard earned is ending up and make sure that the boys in power aren't sitting back and watching the scenery

Jeanne Pratt runs an extremely succesful company named ''THE PRODUCTION COMPANY'', that has been producing and staging many hit Musicals at Melbourne's Art Centre for some years now.

I know this, as my Wife and her theatre friends go to all of them; and Jeanne is always there in the Foyer to welcome her audience members.

See....... http://www.theproductioncompany.com.au

Got no problem with this... No problem at all.

Hopefully Jeanne can help finish what Dick started. Bout time we had a woman on the board too. And I'll bet no-one's going to cry 'tokenism' over this particular woman either!

Maybe you need to give them a 'link' to your address.

I personally don't see what all the fuss is about re 'democracy'.

Company boards aren't democratically elected, board members are invited. And to be honest, if you left it up to the majority of members, the board would be full of good bloke ex-champion players who bleed blue for the club but wouldn't have a clue.

Jeanne Pratt is a no-brainer appointment for a number of reasons.

I support Jeanne being on the board. She has a lot of influence and stature in the Australian business community given her husband's career.

But I feel that as a member, I have no say in who is on the board. Its a closed shop that votes people in, sticks together and doesnt allow for any "intruders".
We don't know who has done what and we don't hear any ideas or agendas of the people on the board or co-opted in.

If we have a good season, nobody will care but look out if things don't go so well.
